| With the continuation of the new curriculum reform,in response to the call for national education development,the Ministry of Education has compiled a new set of PEP junior high school history textbooks based on the new curriculum standards.The eighth grade history textbooks were put into use in the fall of 2017.History textbooks have an important position and role in history teaching.They are the main basis for teachers and students to teach and learn.The continuous improvement of history textbooks is an inevitable measure to adapt to the times and the development of education.As an integral part of history textbooks,the introduction plays an important role in history teaching.The introduction of the junior high school history textbooks has made great improvements on the basis of absorbing previous research results,and has undergone important changes in the preface of the textbooks,unit introductions and class introductions,showing the highlights of the introduction to the junior high school history textbooks.,highlighting the importance of the introduction.At the same time,however,there are still some areas for improvement in the introduction of junior high school history textbooks.For example,the degree of specialization of the introduction content needs to further consider the actual situation of students.The preparation of the introduction to junior high school history textbooks is a long-term and perfect process,not only to combine the background of the times,but also to pay attention to the needs of students.In the process oftransforming textbooks from "teaching books" to "study books," the introduction should be better served to teachers’ teaching and student learning.This article will explore the importance and necessity of the re-editing of the introduction to the junior high school history textbook by discussing the evolution of the introduction to junior high school history textbooks,its role,and the basis for the preparation of the textbook introduction.Then through the comparative analysis of the 2001 textbook and the introduction of the junior high school history textbook in 2017,we found the highlights and shortcomings in the preparation of the introduction to the junior high school history textbook.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on the application of the introduction of the introduction to junior high school history textbooks,and makes suggestions for the full play of the role of the introduction of junior high school history textbooks in history teaching. |
