Textbooks are an important medium for students to study history,and the introduction is an important part of history textbooks,which plays an important role in listing outlines and introducing the main content.However,the research on the introduction to the Ministry-edited senior high school history textbook has just started.Against this background,this article,which studies the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Part I)and exemplifies the cases of front-line teaching,deals with the compiling characteristics of the introduction to the Ministry-edited senior high school history textbook,examines the current understanding and application of the introduction in senior high school history teaching,and explores how to optimize the function of the introduction of the textbook in teaching and learning.The introduction to the Ministry-edited senior high school history textbook embodies virtue-based education.Besides containing the characteristics of the introduction to the previous textbooks,this introduction highlights the core literacy of history and presents the scientificity of content,the generality and interestingness of expression,etc.It also plays an important role in helping teachers integrate the content of teaching materials and grasp teaching goals,helping students make sense of the basic content and concepts contained in the teaching materials,and improving teaching efficiency finally.However,there are some aspects to be improved in the compilation of the Minister-edited textbooks,such as the lack of the foreword of the textbook,and the ambiguity of teaching requirements of some unit introductions.In the process of writing the thesis,the author conducted a sample questionnaire survey and interviews with front-line teachers on the use of the introduction to the Minister-edited textbook.After carrying out an inductive analysis of the collected data,the author has found that in the front-line teaching process,there exist both good aspects and some problems in applying the introduction.This article proposes corresponding teaching suggestions based on what we have learned such as fully comprehending the editor’s intentions,grasping the core literacy,emphasizing secondary development,applying the introduction in multiple sections,following the principle of moderation,etc.The ultimate goal is to improve the effectiveness of senior high school history teaching. |
