The level of professional identity of primary school class teachers seriously affects primary school education.Especially in ethnic areas,the professional identity of primary school class teachers has an important impact on the development of basic education in the region.In order to improve the status quo of primary education in ethnic areas and enhance the professional identity of primary school teachers,a total of 318 class teachers from some township primary schools in Arong Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were selected to participate in the investigation.This survey was carried out under the support of educational psychology theory and sociological theory.This paper mainly uses questionnaires,interviews and other basic research methods to conduct statistical analysis from seven dimensions: self-cognition,professional cognition,occupational emotion,vocational training,professional ability,occupational preparation,and professional identity.The survey shows that(1)the overall level of professional identity has a relatively good level;in different dimensions,the lowest score in vocational training,the highest score in professional cognition.(2)Statistical analysis of gender shows that female class teachers generally have a higher sense of professional identity than male class teachers.(3)After the comparative analysis of the ethnic groups,the professional identity of the minority class teacher is significantly higher than that of the Han class teacher,whether it is female or male.(4)After investigating the class teachers of different grades,it was found that although the sense of professional identity increased with the increase of grades,it showed fluctuations.In terms of professional identity,there are differences between the first,second and third grades and the fourth and fifth grades.There are also differences between the first grade,the second grade and the third grade.Through investigation and research,this paper believes that the factors affecting professional identity are mainly the following factors.For example,on the way to school,it is not a teacher-type college or major that is chosen by oneself.Due to the influence of career choices,there is also a different identity in choosing to work as a primary school teacher;individual ability is also a factor that affects professional identity.There are also the arrangement of courses during the period of schooling and the environmental impact of school teaching and practice;the impact of the employment prospects of the majors studied;what is important is the impact of the current society on the employment status of the education industry.Based on the factors that influence the sense of professional identity,the author puts forward some suggestions for improving the sense of professional identity.There are mainly some suggestions.For example,you should have a correct understanding of yourself,be able to have an understanding of the field you are working in,that is,the field of primary education;you can strengthen vocational skills training;strengthen your professional interests,improve your professional ability,and actively cope with the difficulties encountered.Improve professional identity.Furthermore,schools must do two things,one is to strengthen vocational planning education,and the other is to strengthen ideological and political education.The education authorities should start with vocational training education and general education,and carry out various forms of on-the-job education and activities to enhance professional identity.
