The construction of teaching staff has great significance for the development of national cause,which not only promotes the professional development of teachers,but also enhances the development of students’ physical and mental health,and improves the quality and level of education.Primary head teachers play a variety of roles in school work,responsible for managing the class,carrying out education and communicating with parents.Therefore,as a combination of various roles,professional happiness not only affects the development of school education,but also the sustainable development of students.Through the analysis and possession of the existing literature,the research on teachers’ professional happiness in China is increasing.However,most studies remain on the basis of speculative research while there are few empirical studies.Therefore,with the method of qualitative research and quantitative research,based on literature review and possession,this paper,taking primary head teachers in Qianxi,Hebei as the research subject,explores strategies for improving primary head teachers’ professional happiness by analyzing the current situation and causes of the problem.It is showed from the investigation that primary head teachers as a whole lack professional happiness and thereare six main reasons including the desalination of educational goals and lack of interest in teaching,high work pressure and poor compression ability,high career expectations and lack of demand,lack of educational experience and career development,lack of professional management and low sense of teachers’ gain,complex interpersonal communication and lack of coordination and communication.Accordingly,primary head teachers should clear development goals and cultivate education enthusiasm;position the role rationally and construct the career plan;maintain physical and mental health and prevent job burnout;pay attention to professional development and improve the feeling of achievement;cultivate good personality and strengthen stress tolerance;attach importance to the thinking process and rational arrangement.Meanwhile,schools and society should also pay high attention to the problem of primary head teachers’ lack of professional happiness and actively explore solutions.
