As the university's core stakeholders,teachers are closely related to the reform of university teaching.Teachers are one of the main teaching activities,the teaching reform should be carried out around the main body of education.Teachers through effective ways to fully participate in the reform of university teaching,not only can improve the overall quality of teachers,but also help to promote the scientific and democratic teaching reform.However,the current teaching reform in the depth and breadth of teacher participation did not reach a satisfactory level,the positive role of teachers in teaching reform play is not in place.Therefore,this study focuses on the issue of teachers 'participation in teaching reform.Based on the theory of governance and the theory of participation in the ladder,this study conducts an empirical investigation of the current situation of teachers' participation in teaching reform and puts forward reasonable suggestions in the light of existing problems.This research is based on the governance theory of “diversification of governance subjects”,“multi-centered governance power”,“networking of governance organizations”and “diversification of governance methods”.Combining the ladder theory and the specific context of teaching reform,it integrates the research elements of university internal teaching reform including respectively participants,participation content,participation level and participation process.Teacher participation levels are divided into three degrees(no participation,formalized participation,substantial participation)and five levels(Without participation,understanding of the situation,expressing opinions,participating in the design program,participating in the decision-making program),which form the main framework and the basic context of the research.Based on this,this study uses a self-made questionnaire to make an empirical survey on the status of teachers' participation in teaching reform.The results show that: the difference among gender,age,and titles are significant.Although teachers 'internal teaching reform has made some achievements,there are still some problems such as teachers' enthusiasm is not high,teachers have limited energy,limited teacher involvement.Secondly,participation levels are still in the stage of formal participation,the unbalanced participation of teachers in the group;the lack of guarantee in the process of participation is mainly reflected in the lackof related systems and incentives,the protection of feedback measures and the lack of guarantee of relevant conditions,which are urgently needed to be optimized and resolved.Based on the above issues,combined with governance theory and participation ladder theory,according to teaching reform teacher participation in research elements(participators,participation contents,levels of participation and participation process),this study puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for university teachers' participation in teaching reform,mainly including the following contents: First,teachers' participation in institutionalization is ensured through the improvement of the teacher-ethics standards,job appraisal and appointment system,and through the encouragement and guidance of the system.Teachers are encouraged to participate in the internal drive to ensure that teachers participate in the breadth of teaching reform;Second,the levels of teachers' participation in teaching reform is implemented.At the same level,teachers' participation in depth is promoted to ensure the depth of teacher participation in teaching reform.Finally,the participation of the organization,information exchange,and feedback mechanism is optimized to ensure the standardization of participation in the entire process.It is hoped that it can provide reference for teachers' participation in internal teaching reform.
