Under the background of information age,middle school students prefer to browse fast-food,fragmented and abstract content,which makes it difficult to establish the overall awareness of reading and lack good reading habits and thinking training.In view of this situation,“The whole book reading and discussion”as a learning task group has been listed as the first of 18 learning task groups in the new curriculum standard “curriculum content”,and has become the focus of a new round of teaching reform based on core literacy.Developing the whole book reading teaching activities is not only an important way to improve students language development,thinking,aesthetic appreciation and cultural heritage,but also an important factor to improve students' spiritual realm,personality cultivation and comprehensive ability.But there are many problems and challenges in the teaching of reading the whole book of Chinese in senior high school.The author has made a special investigation and Analysis on the whole book reading teaching in Huanggang senior high school.On the basis of the combination of theory and practice,the author has put forward the optimization strategy guidance for the existing problems.The full text is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the theoretical discussion of the related concepts of the whole book reading teaching,defines the concept of the whole book reading,combs the ideological origin of each period,and analyses the importance of the whole book reading from the theoretical level.These lay the foundation for the smooth research of this paper,the second part is to select four typical high schools in Huanggang City,through questionnaires of teachers and students,to understand the status of the whole book reading teaching in Huanggang area,and put forward effective strategies and guidance for specific status;the third part is based on the above status,from the curriculum,reading system,reading path,reading teaching design.Specific strategies are put forward,including perfecting the curriculum system planning,standardizing the class hour arrangement,determining the target of the book,constructing the reading method system of long stories and academic works,exploring the effective way of reading the whole book in various forms;designing the teaching attempt of reading the whole book,taking Dream of Red Mansions and 1587,a Year of No Significance as examples,analyzing the specific teaching design.
