As new curriculum reform deepens and more attention is paid to student's development of core literacy,the importance of Chinese extracurricular reading in primary school become more apparent.In practice,however,due to subjective and objective factors,the situation of carrying out for the primary school Chinese extracurricular reading to is not optimistic.Although Pupils,teachers and parents generally accept Chinese extracurricular reading,and the development of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading also has a positive improving tendency,there still exist problems,the problems at the concept,content choosing,method guidance,activity direction and evaluation system establishing of the extracurricular reading are still very prominent,which are needed to attach great importance and actively improved.This writing is based on years of experience in teaching practice,investigating students,teachers and parents with the form of questionnaires and interviews,through the data statistics and analysis,to explore the status of the current primary school Chinese extracurricular reading,analyze the causes of problems and strive to put forward targeted improving strategies.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is the summary of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading,which expounds the basic characteristics of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading,and discusses the importance of correctly understanding of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading emphatically from the angle of "the essence of the language" and "the concept of Chinese curriculum".The second part is the present situation investigation and problem analysis of the primary school Chinese extracurricular reading,and searching for the causes of problems from different dimensions,such as school,students,family.The third part is the effective strategies to promote primary school Chinese extracurricular reading,which is the focus of this article.In this part,guiding strategies develop closely around problems,based on my years of experience in extracurricular reading guide and cases,with special emphasis on the role of the teacher.The main experiences are treating extracurricular reading with profound cognition,and setting value reading consciousness;expanding extracurricular reading in curriculum integration mode,to realize the deep combination of inside and outside reading;standardizing extracurricular reading with scientific selection of bibliography,and providing guarantee of high quality reading for students;training and guiding extracurricular reading in a flexible way,to improve students' skills of efficient reading;carrying out the extracurricular reading in a variety of forms,to arouse the enthusiasm of students reading;urging extracurricular reading with convenient feedback mechanism,to cultivate the students' reading habits;promoting extracurricular reading with the improvement of the school system,to build the campus atmosphere of love reading;promoting extra-curricular reading with family training scheme under the guidance of teachers,to build the family atmosphere of advocating reading.
