The course of mental health education for college students is a general education course integrating knowledge imparting,mental experience and behavior training.The course aims to make students clear the standard and significance of mental health,enhance their awareness of psychological health care and psychological crisis prevention,master and apply mental health knowledge,cultivate their self-cognition ability,interpersonal communication ability and self-adjustment ability,and promote their comprehensive development.Strengthening psychological health education of college students can cultivate good psychological quality of college students and cultivate more high-quality talents for the socialist modernization construction.At present,many universities in China have offered psychological health education courses for college students,which are mainly divided into public compulsory courses and public elective courses.This paper focuses on the actual teaching effect of the universities that have offered this course.Based on the connotation of the effectiveness of mental health courses for college students,this paper summarizes the evaluation indexes of the effectiveness of mental health courses.Among them,the first-level indicators include: the curriculum,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,the diathesis of teachers,students’ attitude from six aspects,and clearly defined in the secondary index every aspect of the specific criteria,differentiate very agree(90-100 points),agree(70-89.9 points),not sure(60-69.9 points),don’t agree with four levels(below 60 points).Then the questionnaire was designed based on the specific contents of the first level and the second indicator,and the main subjects were distinguished by the four levels of the curriculum effectiveness evaluation standard as the options.A total of 490 students from more than 50 colleges and universities in 29 provincial administrative regions in shanxi province were selected as the research objects to investigate the effectiveness of mental health courses in colleges and universities.Combining with the theory of positive psychology,marxist theory of all-round human development and erickson’s theory of social psychological development,this paper makes a theoretical analysis of the factors affecting the effectiveness of college students’ mental health education curriculum.Through data analysis,interview,case analysis and other means,this paper finds the positive aspects to improve the effectiveness of the curriculum and the negative aspects to hinder the effectiveness of the curriculum.Finally,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of the curriculum,in order to make the necessary contribution to the improvement of the effectiveness of the curriculum.
