Mental health education is not only an important area of quality education,but also an important part of national education.This thesis aims to introduce the positive psychology and Mental Health Education curriculum's origin and its basic ideas.Based on this,this thesis analyze the combination of positive psychology with Mental Health Education course in Xinjiang.In order to understand the current situation of the construction of psychological health education curriculum in colleges and universities in Xinjiang,the present study investigated the undergraduates and the leaders of mental health education centers of nine universities in Xinjiang by means of questionnaire.The survey found that the main problems existing in Mental Health Education curriculum system of undergraduates major in higher normal universities in Xinjiang are as follows: the insufficient attention to the curriculum,the deficiency of curriculum system,the lack of scientific in curriculum evaluation and the deficiency of guarantee in couse.This research analyzes the reasons of the existing problems of psychological health education for college students in Xinjiang by using positive psychology theory.The main problems in the construction of mental health education for college students in Xinjiang are as follows: the concept of the curriculum is not clear enough;the curriculum system is not perfect;the curriculum The evaluation system is imperfect;the construction of active system organization is deficienctFinally,based on the above investigation and analysis,the thesis puts forward the ways of the construction of mental health education curriculum for college students in Xinjiang under the guidance of positive psychology.Specifically,firstly,we should set up a positive curriculum concept;Secondly,the construction of positive and efficient curriculum system,which includes three aspects: the positive personality cultivation as the core to construct the curriculum goals,with a positive personality cultivation as the core to construct the curriculum objectives,to cultivate positive psychological quality for the purpose of the construction of curriculum content,the positive emotionexperience to focus on the integration of teaching practice;Thirdly,to establish a positive curriculum evaluation system,including curriculum objectives,curriculum content,teaching methods and evaluation of the effectiveness of the course;Fourth,to strengthen the construction of positive curriculum organization system,and form the resultant force of the construction of Mental Health Education curriculum.The purpose of this study is to establish a psychological health education curriculum for university students in Xinjiang,which can further promote the development of mental health education in this area.
