An Empirical Analysis Of The Effect Of Technological Progress On Employment

At present,China's economic development is in a stable state,and science and technology are developing with each passing day,while the employment issue is increasingly severe and the social employment situation is in an uproar.In particular,after the expansion of enrollment by domestic universities,the number of university students has increased significantly,making the already grim employment situation worse.The economic development is extremely unfavorable.Employment has always been a very important issue in economic theory.Many economists have put forward economic theories about employment.At the same time,employment is also closely related to people's livelihood.How to deal with the employment issue,not only scholars are actively exploring,but also governments around the world have taken many measures.According to a number of studies conducted by experts and scholars at home and abroad,the progress of science and technology has a certain influence on the form of employment.Although there is controversy regarding the degree of influence and effect,it is basically agreed in this respect.The economic structure of our country is constantly changing,and the employment structure of the labor market has also changed.This has led to changes in the demand for labor by enterprises,which has changed greatly compared with the previous employment situation.In 2017,the GDP of Hunan Province reached 3.5 trillion yuan,an increase of 7.8% year-on-year;the number of newly employed people was 751,000,an increase of 1.8% year-on-year,showing a good development trend.However,there are no scholars to study the relationship between Hunan's progress in science and technology and employment.This article starts from this perspective and finds out the mysteries of Hunan Province.Based on relevant literature and literature,this paper first uses the grey correlation analysis method to study the degree of correlation of various relevant factors affecting the total employment in Hunan Province.The results show that the three factors of technological progress,wage level and industrial structure level The impact on total employment in Hunan Province is more significant,followed by GDP and capital investment.Second,the relationship between technological advancement,employment,and employment structure in Hunan Province is analyzed based on the model,and the following conclusions are drawn:Technical progress is in Hunan Province.The second and third industrial structures have a positive impact,and they also have an accelerating effect on the total employment in Hunan Province.Finally,based on the conclusions they have obtained,we propose countermeasures from the perspectives of individuals,companies,and governments.This paper helps to understand the relationship between Hunan's technological progress and its employment,and it is of positive significance for the improvement of the employment situation in Hunan Province.It not only enriches the research on the relationship between technological progress and employment,but also provides a certain solution to the employment problem in Hunan Province.Inspiration.
