| The level of citizens' scientific literacy is an important factor to measure the strength of a country's comprehensive national strength.Therefore,the cultivation and improvement of public scientific literacy has become an important goal of China's science education.Biological science literacy is an important part of scientific literacy.It is clearly pointed out in " compulsory education biology curriculum standard(2011edition)" that the biological science literacy of every student should be improved,and biology teaching is one of the important ways to improve students' biological science literacy.As a biology teacher,it is particularly important to improve students' biological science literacy by implementing some strategies in teaching.Based on the literature,this study introduces the research status of bioscience literacy at home and abroad,defines the scientific literacy and bioscience literacy,and divides the bioscience literacy into knowledge literacy,ability literacy,method literacy,quality literacy,and consciousness.Literacy.Based on the five dimensions of bioscience literacy,the questionnaire was set up to investigate the status of bioscience literacy of the two classes of students in the eighth grade,and interviews were conducted with four bio-teachers.The main reasons are as follows: 1.The school lacks professional biology teachers;2.Understands the concept of biology curriculum;3.Does not attach importance to experimental teaching;4.The teaching method is too simple;5.Does not pay attention to the subjective status of students;6.The evaluation method is single.Analyze the above influencing factors and propose improved strategies.On this basis,improve the teaching methods of biology teachers,use experimental teaching,inquiry-based teaching and other teaching methods in the classroom to improve students' scientific inquiry ability and experimental ability;cultivate students' interest in learning biology;and stimulate students to learn biology The initiative and enthusiasm of learning,carry out extracurricular activities outside the classroom,allowing students to explore biological knowledge in practice.With the improvement of teaching methods,students' biological science literacy status has been effectively improved.Through one year of teaching practice,the following four conclusions are obtained by using classroom observation and extracurricular random interviews: 1.Optimizing teaching concepts and teaching methods can improve students' enthusiasm for learning biology;2.Biology teaching It is necessary to pay attention to the cultivation of students' biological science literacy;3.The implementation of the strategy has a positive effect on the cultivation of students' biological science literacy;4.The status quo of students' biological science literacy has been effectively improved.On the basis of this research,in order to comprehensively cultivate the students' biological science literacy,several suggestions for the biology teaching of the sample school are put forward,and it is expected that the biology teachers will be helpful in the future teaching. |
