Disciplinary construction is an important task in the construction of colleges and universities and an important part of higher education research-The research on the research results of discipline construction in China in the past ten years can be realized by means of the Chinese Knowledge Network database,through statistical analysis of the discipline construction literature,core word co-occurrence,core word clustering and core word mutation monitoring.With the help of modern statistical analysis and knowledge mapping software,combined with quantitative research and qualitative research methods,we can conduct statistical analysis on the annual and journal distribution,research institutions and research authors in the field of discipline construction in China,and then explore the cooperation relationship between the authors and the regional distribution of institutions..Interpretation of research topics and research frontiers in the field of discipline construction.The study found that the annual distribution of research results of discipline construction in China in 2008-2018 showed a "U"-type structure,showing two distinct stages of significant difference and large-scale development;the publication of the subject research results of the discipline construction was significant among different core journals.Universities,administrative institutions,scientific research institutions and academic organizations are the four main types of research institutions in China.The discipline construction research institutions are distributed in geographical distribution,showing a spatial pattern of less east and west,which is roughly consistent with the division of economic regions in China;The density of the cooperative network formed is very low,and there is no close cooperation between the research authors.In the past ten years,the research on discipline construction has formed three major thematic areas of "talent training,"research,"first-class discipline" research,and "specific discipline" research;The evolution of the frontier of discipline construction can be divided into the gradual research frontier represented by the scientific development concept,core competitiveness,new undergraduate colleges,and the stable research front represented by higher education research,ideological and political education,and academic power.The fescinating research frontier represented by world-class universities,first-class disciplines,and world-class disciplines Class.The study believes that maintaining the stability and continuity of the research on higher education discipline construction,avoiding excessive influence by government policies;correctly selecting higher education journals,sharing the useful experfence of higher education discipline construction quickly and effectively;strengthening the construction of higher education disciplines by different institutions and regions The interactive exchange of problems;focusing on the dual-level construction and strengthening the discipline construction to pay attention to undergraduate education and personnel training is an effective path for the study of higher education discipline construction in the future.
