In September 2016,the "ministry edition" Chinese textbook has been piloted in some areas.The introduction of new textbooks,its characteristics and innovations have attracted the attention of many scholars and front-line teachers,among them,in order to change the phenomenon that "intensive reading text" and "skimming text" are not separated in Chinese teaching,"ministry edition"are changed from "intensive reading texts" to "teaching reading texts" and "skimming texts" to "self-reading texts",establishing a trinity reading teaching structure of "teaching-reading-self-reading-extracurricular reading","self-reading texts" also show new features in the arrangement.However,there are still many problems in the teaching of self-reading texts,which need to be solved urgently.Firstly,this paper elaborates the concepts of the teaching of Chinese self-reading texts in junior middle schools based on "ministry edition",the theoretical basis,characteristics and teaching value of self-reading texts in junior high school.Secondly,through the empirical investigation of four junior middle school teachers and students in two cities in East China and related literature research,from the four dimensions of "idea,goal,form and evaluation" of self-reading texts teaching to analyses the problems existing in the self-reading texts of junior middle schools compiled by departments,and analysis of the causes of these problems from the current new curriculum standard,"ministry edition"teaching materials,teachers themselves,examination-oriented education background.At last,in view of the problems and their causes in the teaching of self-reading texts in junior middle school,the following targeted teaching strategies and operational examples are presented."renewing the teacher's concept,clarifying the purpose of the arrangement;based on the "student" and "text",clearing the teaching objectives;paying attention to the classroom development form,diversified organization teaching;establishing after-school evaluation program,effectively guiding the inspection".
