Career education is related to the development of a person's life.Career education is one of the most important educational contents in the basic education stage in developed countries.In China,there is no systematic career education course,and career education is still in its infancy stage.The students in the senior high schools are gradually getting matured.They are full of imaginations about their future life,and they have explored and yearned for the jobs they are going to do in the future.In this period,according to the students' psychology,infiltrating career education in subject teaching can help students form an understanding of the profession,establish a correct career ideal,and lay a good foundation for the development of their future career.A new round of education reform is about to take place in China.The implementation of career education in senior high schools is a major and urgent and realistic topic.Infiltrating career education in subject teaching is an important way to implement career education,which is of far-reaching strategic significance with great research value.This thesis in mainly divided into four parts:the literature research method is adopted in the first part to discuss the research status quo of career education at home and abroad.The questionnaire survey method is adopted in the second part to design questionnaires for both teachers and students to understand the current infiltration of career education in the teaching of Biology.In the third part,the content of the career education that can be infiltrated in the compulsory module of Biology textbooks of People's Education Press is organized,summarized and expanded.In the fourth part,combined with the teaching practice,some cases are used to analyze the methods of infiltrating the career education in the teaching of Biology.After a semester of practice,interviews and tests were carried out to verify the impact of the teaching practice on students in terms of career awareness,interest in learning and effectiveness.The main research conclusions are as below.The research on career education in developed countries started early,and has formed a career education system that is suitable for their national conditions.However,the research on career education in our country started late and developed slowly;and the career education focuses more on higher education and vocational education.The infiltration of career education in the teaching of Biology has been affirmed and concerned by many teachers and students,but at the implementation level,experience and problems coexist.The corresponding requirements on career education are proposed in the programmatic documents.A variety of career education materials can be seen in the Biology textbooks of People's Education Press.It has been proved by practice that infiltration of career education in the teaching of Biology in ordinary senior high schools can improve students' professional awareness,enhance their interest in learning,stimulate their learning motivation and improve their Biological scores.
