Sport Education Model is based on game teaching theory,with direct guidance,group practice,role assignment and other conventional teaching methods,combined with group confrontation,season competition and other practical experience,to strengthen students'interest,change learning attitude,enrich students' sports experience education model.Our country middle school basketball movement develops well,the basketball movement in the middle school student mind is superior to other sports,however,the conventional teaching mode has many shortcomings,the student likes the basketball but does not like the basketball class.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,experiment,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,this paper applies the sports education model to middle school basketball teaching.Two classes of boys in the second grade of Wuxi private Furen Middle School were selected as experimental class and control class.The experimental class adopted the basketball teaching method of sports education mode and the control class adopted the conventional teaching method.After 18 weeks basketball class,comparing the height,weight,physical fitness,mental health,learning attitude,interest and satisfaction,cognition of basketball,mastery of basketball skills and participation in basketball after class between the two classes,this paper objectively analyzes the teaching of Basketball Course under the sports education mode.The results reveal the effectiveness of sports education model,enrich the means of middle school basketball teaching;explore the impact of sports education model on the realization of curriculum objectives,provide a reference for the promotion of sports education model in middle school basketball teaching;and provide a reference for the diversity of middle school sports curriculum.Research conclusions:1.Sports education mode improves the interest and satisfaction of middle school students in learning basketball;enhances the activity and participation of middle school students in basketball classroom;improves the cognitive level of middle school students to basketball;promotes the self-training ability of middle school students to basketball skills;and improves the mastery of basketball basic skills of middle school students.2.Sports education model promotes the diversification of middle school students,participation in basketball;does not unilaterally pay attention to the promotion of basketball skills;more comprehensive promotion of students' physical and mental development;all-round promotion of middle school students' social adaptability.3.The problems of sports education mode include insufficient teaching cycle,solidification of students' roles and serious phenomenon of students' small groups.
