The Curriculum outline of Comprehensive practical activities in Primary and Secondary Schools points out that it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of the comprehensive quality of middle school students.However,many junior middle schools have insufficient experience in offering this course and often equate the integrated practical activity curriculum to one-disciplinary practical activity curriculum,so that students undefined ability to use multidisciplinary knowledge to solve problems cannot be effectively promoted.The concept of STEAM education pays attention to multi-disciplinary integration,which provides a new way of thinking for the solution of this problem.On the basis of summarizing the relevant research status at home and abroad,under the guidance of activity theory,constructivism theory and multiple intelligences theory,this paper studies the instructional design of junior high school comprehensive practical activity curriculum based on STEAM.First of all,this study investigates the demand of integrated practical activity curriculum,and gives the implementation strategy of STEAM fusion curriculum according to the survey results.Then,the instructional design analysis of junior high school comprehensive practical activity curriculum supported by STEAM is carried out,which mainly includes the selection of activity theme and clear activity goal and so on.On the basis of analysis,this paper combs the teaching process of the integration of STEAM and comprehensive practical activities,which includes the creation of situation and student grouping,cooperative inquiry and result sharing,deepening practice and implementation evaluation.Finally,in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the teaching design,a specific teaching practice case is carried out in the teaching application.The application results show that in the course of instructional design of comprehensive practical activities based on STEAM,students can improve the ability of solving problems by using the multi-discipline knowledge learned.Through interviews and questionnaires,students believe that they prefer STEAM-based comprehensive practice activities than traditional classrooms.
