cornerstone of talents for achieving high—quality economic development.The quality of their training is related to the construction of China's modern economic system.Then,economic construction is the core of China's construction of modernization powerful socialist country.It can be seen that the cultivation of high—quality financial and economic professionals with both ability and political integrity has great strategic significance.College student majoring in finance and economics,as future talents in securities,banking,insurance,enterprises,other economic administration and financial fields,will mainly administrate and operate capital in their future career life.Compared with students of other majors,they face more direct and huge economic benefits and temptation,and the risk of corruption is higher than that of college students of other majors.Although the supervision is constantly strengthened,and the risk prevention and control is constantly completed by the financial and economic sectors,there are still loopholes in the institutional system or laws.Therefore,colleges and universities need to pay enough attention to the honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics,to promote them to develop the quality of honesty and trustworthiness,self-disciplined,integrity and dedication,and play a good “preventing corruption” vaccine in advance.The academic research on honesty education of college students becomes more and more abundant,which guides the practice of honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics to some extent.However,due to its professional characteristics and nature of future career,the honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics should have specific analysis on the concrete questions to better improve the effectiveness of their honesty education.Therefore,this paper takes honesty education of financial and economic majors as the research object,takes ideological and political education theory,value education theory and incorruptibility thought in traditional Chinese culture as the theoretical basis,and uses the methods of literature analysis and questionnaire survey to carry out the research.This paper discusses the concept,objective and content of honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics,the current situation of honesty education of financial and economic majors in colleges,and suggestions on strengthening honesty education in college.The specific contents mainly include:Firstly,the concept of honesty education of financial and economic majors is discussed.Based on the concept of honesty education of college students,with the characteristics of college students majoring in finance and economics,this paper discusses the concept of honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics.Secondly,it analyzes the objective and content of honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics.The career characteristics of financial and economic majors determine that the goal of honesty education of financial and economic majors should be higher.Through honesty education,we will promote to format a firm honesty will and belief in the consciousness of college students majoring in finance and economics;act on honest and incorruptible financial professional ethics;form a clean and honest value with the correct idea of justice and interests.The content of education should not only follow the general principles of honesty education,but also reflect the characteristics of the professional requirements of finance and economics,which includes taking honesty education as the fundamental,financial and economic professional ethics education as the focus,financial legal education as the basis,and financial against corruption education as the core.Thirdly,the status quo of honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics is investigated.As the main position of cultivating financial and economic talents,colleges should pay enough attention to the honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics.However,through questionnaire survey and data analysis,it can be seen that honesty education of students majoring in finance and economics in college still has problem,such as poor implementation,lack of pertinence in content,weak practice links of honesty education,and single forms of honesty activities,which result in failure to achieve the educational effect.Combined with the current problems,the causes are analyzed from the perspective of colleges: insufficient overall leadership of party committees in college,lack of honesty education in financial and economic talents training programs,insufficient excavation of financial and economic honesty culture,lack of organizational guarantee for honesty education,and insufficient allocation of resources for honesty education.Fourthly,the author puts forward some suggestions to strengthen the honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics,mainly including: improving the colleges' emphasis on honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics,strengthening the honesty education content targeted for financial and economic majors,enriching the form of honesty education of college students majoring in finance and economics,promoting the fusion of economic culture and honest culture,strengthening the guarantee of honesty education of financial and economic majors,improving the ability of financial and economic majors honesty education itself. |
