Nowadays,the information intelligence revolution based on Artificial Intelligence technology puts forward a clear direction for China's future talent training.In order to maintain sustainable competitiveness,our country needs to vigorously cultivate a new generation of talents in the field of Artificial Intelligence.How to develop the Artificial Intelligence curriculum in the phase of basic education is the focus of this paper.In junior high school,Artificial Intelligence course has officially become one of the teaching modules of information technology course.At this stage,students mainly learn basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence,robot graphic programming,maker making and other activity courses,which mainly cultivate students' programming thinking,creative thinking and practical ability to deal with problems.Because in this key phase,students could have a more comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence,which will lay a foundation for his or her high school and college to study further in the field of Artificial Intelligence.In high school phase,students can learn Artificial Intelligence algorithm,robot programming,Automatic Speech Recognition,mixed reality,network security and other contents through information technology courses,so that students can have a deeper understanding of computer language,learn complex algorithms and data analysis.This paper starts from the urgent needs of Artificial Intelligence education and the current situation of basic education development in China,integrates the STEAM integration concept into the Artificial Intelligence teaching activities,and conducts the teaching activity design and application research of Artificial Intelligence module teaching based on information technology courses.The specific research contents of this paper include: Firstly,based on the concept of STEAM integration,this paper discusses the teaching activity design of the Artificial Intelligence module of middle school information curriculum.Secondly,ADDIE model is used to design the Artificial Intelligence teaching activity model based on STEAM integration education,and three specific cases are developed.Moreover,based on the actual situation,three teaching modes of the three cases are discussed respectively,namely,the traditional subject teaching mode,the PBL teaching mode based on problem solving and the Project Management teaching mode,so as to provide new research cases for the development and practice of Artificial Intelligence module teaching activities.Through teaching practice,research shows that teaching activities of Artificial Intelligence module based on STEAM integration concept can improve students' learning effect,learning interest,teamwork,discipline integration consciousness,etc.,and greatly promote the improvement of teachers' teaching effect,teaching method simple and other problems.At present,middle school education of Artificial Intelligence is still in the exploratory stage in our country,through the education practice,STEAM integration education theory is applied to the middle school teaching activity design and application o,which not only can be rich and colorful middle school education teaching of Artificial Intelligence theory and the practice,but also provide certain reference for other teachers.
