With the deepening of educational reform and the advancement of quality education,the development of students' key competences has become the common concern in the field of education.At present,more and more attention has been paid to cultivating students' ability of fitting into the life-long development of society,and the key competences are also preliminarily explored in school education since it's an indispensable quality of meeting the needs of personal life-long development as well as a key ability of adapting to the social development.However,the sense of responsibility is one of the moral qualities which play an important role in a person standing to the society,obtaining happiness of family and succeeding in career.Generally speaking,when a person is in the age of seven or twelve,his physical and mental development and ideological enlightenment are in a crucial stage.And students' sense of responsibility,autonomous learning ability and self-care ability are automatically acquired in primary school.Moreover,if a person behaves responsibly in his life,the quality will not disappear even after him going to middle school and college,and also accompany him throughout his life.Therefore,it can be found that the cultivation of pupils' sense of responsibility is one of the goals of key competences and a way of its implementation.To be concluded,based on the research status of cultivation of pupils' responsibility and the goal of key competences,studying the relationship between the cultivation of pupils' sense of responsibility and students' key competences is the only way of deepening the implementation of quality education,adapting to the trend of educational reform and realizing the innovation of theory and practice of quality education.The research takes a case study of two primary schools in Wuhan City,Hubei Province,and chooses the pupils of grade one to six as the key research subjects.The objective is to investigate the status of the development of pupils' sense of responsibility and some problems to be solved.Through questionnaires,interviews and practical observation,we can understand the current situation and existing problems of pupils' sense of responsibility.Meanwhile,according to the physical and mental characteristics of students at different ages,the research helps educators formulate the strategies to cultivate the pupils' sense of responsibility.This paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,it's the introduction part which illustrates the reasons of choosing the topic.Based on the relevant research results of responsibility,the purpose and significance of this study are established,which lays a solid foundation for the research of responsibility.Part one elaborates the definition of key competences and pupils' sense of responsibility.And then,the relationships between them are illustrated.Based on the previous studies on key competences and responsibility,this paper defines the concept of responsibility and analyzes the connotation and extension of pupils' responsibility.Furthermore,it clarifies the relationships between the two concepts on the basis of the goal of key competences,and analyzes the specific content of the cultivation of pupils' responsibility.Part two is based on the current survey and analysis of key competences and pupils' sense of responsibility.This chapter investigates the status quo of pupils' sense of responsibility through questionnaires,and makes a survey among the parents,teachers and junior students in the way of interviews.Finally,the analysis of current situation and results of pupils' sense of responsibility is presented in the form of charts.According to the investigation of pupils' sense of responsibility in part two,part three analyzes what phenomena and problems exist in the survey,and finds out why these problems will exist.Part four illuminates the cultivation strategies of pupils' sense of responsibility with key competences,and puts forward corresponding educational strategies and implementation paths for the cultivation of pupils' sense of responsibility at different ages.This paper intends to use core-based literacy to examine the responsibility of primary school students,investigate the current situation of the development of primary school students' responsibility in Wuhan and draw the following conclusions:the primary school students' individual responsibility develop in an unbalanced way and don't have a clear recognition of social roles.Meanwhile,the ability of empathy is poor and the consciousness of self-responsibility is not consistent with the actual be havior,etc.Therefore,this paper,taking the educational goal of cultivating people as theoretical framework,attempts to seek the implementers of core literacy.Additionally,it also explores the connotation and extension of pupils' sense of responsibility,how to implement and cultivate the core quality in the development of pupils' moral education,how to promote the landing of core quality and solve the moral education p roblems existing in the current society.
