Textbooks are the important basis of teachers' teaching.Grasping the characteristics of textbooks and choosing suitable textbooks are the basis of good art lessons.At present,our country's art textbooks still carry out the policy of "more than one outline" and there are more than ten versions of junior high school art textbooks being used throughout the country.The textbooks used in the art classes of primary and secondary schools in Jiangxi Province are mainly published by People's Education Press and Jiangxi Art Press.The two versions of textbooks show different characteristics in compilation and design.By combing the history of the development of junior middle school art textbooks in China after the New China,investigating the use of the two textbooks and comparing the similarities and differences between the two textbooks,this paper explores the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks and puts forward some suggestions for the compilation of junior middle school art textbooks in the new era.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,object,purpose and significance,research status,research ideas and methods.The second part introduces the four development stages of junior middle school art textbooks in China since the founding of the People's Republic of China.It investigates the current situation of the use of the two versions of the textbooks in Jiangxi,and finds that thecompilation of the textbooks has changed from paying too much attention to knowledge and skills to the goal of cultivating all-round development of people.The third part compares the similarities and differences between the two versions of textbooks,which is the main part of the article.Among them,the selection of textbooks is a concentrated reflection of the differences in textbooks.This paper expounds it from six parts: the layout structure,content selection,language description,illustration adoption,course name and column setting.The fourth part separately analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the two versions of textbooks: the design of the textbooks is concise and humanistic,which is a systematic and open art textbook with insufficient interesting;the textbooks of the Jiangxi Fine Arts edition are distinctive and interesting,but the compilation is not rigorous enough,and some details such as illustrations can be perfected.At the same time,the article also puts forward suggestions on the compilation of fine arts textbooks in the new era from three aspects: strengthening the quality of fine arts discipline,focusing on the construction of thematic characteristic courses and promoting the three-dimensional construction of teaching materials in the information age,with a view to promoting the development of fine arts textbooks in the new era.
