The number of private kindergartens occupies more than half of the total number of preschool education institutions.To improve the quality of preschool education in China,we must pay attention to the quality of private kindergarten education.To improve the quality of private kindergarten education,we must enhance the professional quality and teaching ability of private kindergarten teachers.As an important part of the professional quality of private kindergarten teachers,we must also pay attention to it,and the actual teaching highlights the problems of insufficient teaching cognition and lack of teaching design capabilities in private kindergarten teachers' teaching ability.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply study the current situation and existing problems of private kindergarten teachers' teaching ability,find out the reasons behind it,and give corresponding suggestions,so as to promote the improvement of private kindergarten teachers' teaching ability,the strengthening of professional quality and the construction of private kindergarten teachers.This research is mainly based on the theory of teacher professional development and career motivation.The questionnaire survey and interview method are used to survey 217 private kindergarten teachers in Anhui Province,and 6 private kindergarten teachers are interviewed.Five aspects of teaching cognition ability,teaching operation ability,teaching regulation ability,teaching evaluation and reflection ability to investigate the status of private kindergarten teachers' teaching ability,in addition,in-depth analysis of the problems of private kindergarten teachers' teaching ability using field observation records.The survey results show that the overall teaching ability of 217 private kindergarten teachers is good,but the following problems exist in each dimension of teaching ability:(1)Teaching cognitive ability: relatively weak grasp of the major and difficult courses in various areas of kindergarten;(2)Teaching design ability:incomplete activity objectives,activity content deviating from reality,inappropriate selection of teaching methods,creation of learning environment Too muchappreciation;(3)Teaching operation ability: lack of ability to use modern teaching equipment,and the level of professional skills needs to be improved;(4)teaching regulation ability: insufficient emergency response ability,limited ability to manage classroom discipline,Ability to adjust teaching content and teaching process is too low;(5)teaching evaluation and reflection ability: single evaluation method,evaluation The method is poorly mastered.This study discusses the reasons for the above problems from three aspects: private kindergarten teachers themselves,private kindergartens and education departments: private kindergarten teachers have low professional quality,insufficient professional development motivation,and low self-efficacy;the threshold for private kindergarten entry is too low.The welfare benefits are not high,the development space provided is limited;the financial investment in the education sector is insufficient and the training system is not perfect.Therefore,this study combined the survey results,interview results and observations from the private kindergarten teachers themselves,private kindergartens and education departments to make the following recommendations:(1)Private kindergarten teacher level: make up for the lack of teaching ability,improve their professional qualities,formulate Career planning,clarify development goals,enhance self-identity,and establish self-confidence;(2)Private kindergarten level: raise the entry threshold and improve the level of teachers in the park;improve welfare treatment to meet the material needs of teachers;multiple measures go hand in hand,Provide greater space for development;(3)Education sector level: increase financial investment,support the development of private kindergartens and improve the training system,and effectively promote the development of private kindergarten teachers.
