"Teacher shortage" is the main sticking points which restrict the development of the rural compulsory education,in order to strengthen the rural compulsory education teachers team construction,promote the rural compulsory education balanced development,innovative teachers supplement mechanism,improve the overall quality of teachers,and gradually solve the problem of teachers' insufficient total amount and unreasonable structure.In 2006,the Ministry of Education,Ministry of Finance,Ministry of Personnel,the State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform jointly formulated <The implementation plan of the special post plan for school teachers in the rural compulsory education stage> and then gradually implemented the implementation plan in central and western regions.Since the implementation of the plan,a large number of highly qualified and highly educated college graduates have gone to rural primary and secondary schools to engage in teaching,injecting vigor and vitality into rural schools,and playing an important role in implementing quality-oriented education in rural areas,promoting the reform of new curriculum and promoting the balanced development of compulsory education.However,at the same time,a series of problems in the professional development of rural special-post teachers are gradually emerging,such as the lack of professional development conditions,the weak awareness of professional development,the limited professional development path and insufficient professional development ability,which restrict the improvement of special post teachers' professional ability.This article based on special post teachers of M city in henan province as the research object,mainly adopts questionnaire and interview method,at the same time,with the aid of the relevant statistics of M city Education Bureau,analyzing and summarizing the current situation of the special post teachers' professional development and the main problems.On the basis of large data analysis,which finds out the main reasons restricting the development of special post teachers in rural areas.Finally,this is a way to find out the direction of the special post teachers' professional development.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance of teachers' professional development,the definition of relevant concepts,the literature review and research methods at home and abroad.The second part is the basic situation of professional development of teachers in special post.By summarizing the survey data,this paper expounds the recruitment situation,working and living conditions and major ways of professional development of teachers in special post.The third part is the problems of professional development of teachers in special post.The problems are summarized as four aspects: lack of professional development conditions,weak awareness of professional development,limited professional development path and insufficient professional development ability.The fourth part is the analysis of the causes of the problems in the professional development of teachers in special post.From the social factors,school factors and personal factors to analyze three aspects;The last aspect is the countermeasures and suggestions for the professional development of special post teachers.In order to find an effective way to improve the professional development of teachers of special post,the countermeasures are found from three aspects: improving the policy and system,improving the external environment of professional development of teachers of special post,improving the professional identity of teachers of special post and improving their awareness of professional development.
