Example sentence is an important method and means to explain language points in TCFL classroom teaching,and it is an essential part of classroom teaching.Whether the example design reflects the characteristics of vocabulary in structure and usage,whether it can make students understand the meaning and usage of vocabulary clearly,and grasp the intention of teachers also have a great impact on the efficiency of classroom teaching and the quality of teaching effect.For teachers,the design of example sentences is the focus of teaching design,but also a major difficulty.At present,Thailand cooperates with China to build 16 Confucius institutes and 11 Confucius Classrooms,which requires a large number of Chinese teachers and volunteers every year.As of March 2019,the number of volunteers for Chinese teachers in Thailand has reached 17185,mainly distributed in more than 1000 universities,middle schools and primary schools.in 2018,the number of volunteers for Chinese teachers in Thailand has reached 1700.The number of Chinese learners should not be ignored.in Thailand,the number of Chinese learners increased from 80500 in 2003 to more than 1 million.Therefore,we conducted a survey on the needs of Thai Chinese learners for example sentences in Chinese classroom.On this basis,we took the senior high school 3 textbook Experience Chinese used by the respondents as an example for teaching design practice and research.At the same time,we conducted a survey on the design of Chinese example sentences for Chinese teachers teaching in Thailand,some suggestions are put forward for example sentence design according to the characteristics of Chinese teaching in Thailand.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the background,significance and research methods of the topic in detail,and summarizes the previous research results,mainly including foreign language example sentence design research,Chinese as a foreign language example sentence design research,Thai Chinese example sentence design research and Experience Chinese textbook research.The second part is the introduction and analysis of Chinese teaching in Thailand.it mainly introduces the Chinese teaching in Triam Udom Suksa Patthanakarn Suvamabhumi School,the learning characteristics of students and the problems in teaching.And the analysis of the textbook of experience Chinese senior high school 3,which is divided into the brief introduction of the textbook,the content analysis of the textbook and the summary of the characteristics of the textbook.The content analysis of the textbook mainly includes the number and difficulty of the vocabulary,the number and difficulty of the grammar points,the number and difficulty of the language function items of the textbook and the related topics.And compare the difficulty of the content of Experience Chinese senior high school 3 with the previous volume of the textbook and students' Chinese level.The third chapter is a survey of Thai students' needs for example sentences and the design practice of Chinese example sentences of Chinese teachers who teach in Thailand and who have taught in Thailand.First of all,we use a questionnaire survey to analyze the needs of senior three students for Chinese classroom example sentences,including the difficulty,quantity,presentation and related topics.And then,the questionnaire for Chinese teachers includes the necessity of example sentence design,the principle of example sentence design,the presentation of example sentence,the effectiveness of example sentence,the problems and needs of teachers in example sentence design,an interview with both local teachers and Chinese teachers in Thailand on the issues involved in the survey.In the fourth part,on the basis of the questionnaire,we carry out the practice of example sentence design from writing and presentation of the example sentence,and combine the results of the survey with our example sentence design practice,and put forward some suggestions for the implementation of the design of the Chinese language in Thailand.Finally,we summarize the research,and put forward the shortcomings and prospects of the research.
