The situation for campus employment is urgent nowadays. As a mainstream medium for online job hunting, the Web-based campus recruitment has become increasingly prominent as a bridge between employers and undergraduates. However, the functional construction and interface of Web-based campus recruitment is insufficient to undergraduate's psychological need, and doesn't well match user's cognition, and still needs to be greatly improved. It is particularly important to conduct user research throughout the design process and to solve all kinds of requirements through design.Kano model can clarify the relationship between users'satisfaction with the product and their product service level, provide an idea of effective management of user demand, and play an important role in support of revision design decision. This study is mainly to redesign the Web-based campus recruitment for better usability based on the psychological needs and cognitive operational characteristics of undergraduate. It consists of 2 parts 4 studies:Study 1&2:Undergraduates' mental model analysis and usability issues researchA deep experience test of redesign opportunity search for collecting the requirements and redesign points of the undergraduate job seekers, and produce a preliminary mental model of the users. The requirements are classified by Kano model, and different design Suggestions are proposed according to different types of requirements.Study 3&4:The redesign prototype practice of the Web-based campus recruitment and scheme effectiveness evaluationThe proposal design of usability problems and requirement problems was completed via the focus group, and then revised a redesign high-fidelity prototype. And the experience level comparison test to before and after revision for verify the revision design effect. The results show that:1)The result of deep experience test to small sample shows that the user experience on the website is poor, which is mainly due to the problems of website visual and usability.Especially the usability problems which negatively influence the website satisfaction. In order to promote the website experience, solving usability problems and enhancing visual design is essential.2)The result of Kano model aiming at the problems of function satisfaction shows that:One-dimensional requirements include:relevance of job search, clarity of job classification, collection of jobs, information security technical measures, refinement of job search feedback, and highly integrated school recruit information.Must-be requirements include:resume optimization, improvement of written examination ability, improvement of interview skills, job interaction area, job competition reference information, and job compare;Attractive requirements include:safety guide design and online appointment of interview time; Therefore, the platform should not only to meet the Must-be quality, but also try to meet the One-dimensional quality and strive to develop the Attractive quality so as to enhance functional construction.3)The comparison experience level test demonstrates the redesign prototype vision a better usability level and visual design experience. In general, the study effectively explores and analyzes the requirements of undergraduate, the improved usability of Web-based campus recruitment meets the need of undergraduate for efficient interface use.It is verified that reasonable and clear hierarchical structure, friendly visual design and fully functional construction can predict higher user experience, and have a certain positive impact on the use of undergraduate to the website.
