In the 1920s,xu beihong and others introduced the western realism education system into China. In the 1960s,they also learned from the Soviet union and introduced the Soviet realism education system. The two kinds of realism deeply occupied the Chinese art education system for nearly a hundred years! This kind of education certainly has his merit--verisimilitude.But it also has an extremely scary side, which is that students spend too much time training their skills. The painter focused all his energy on how to depict his subjects, thereby eliminating their creative thinking and neglecting the improvement of the artist's cultural accomplishment.Such art education not only created a large number of "prototype copying" craftsmen criticized by Chen danqing, but also cultivated a large number of audiences who could only appreciate the "likeness" of the painting. What's the point now of spending months or even years painting a portrait of a man who is so beautiful and so hairy? In the 21st century, with the rapid development of economy,we are amazed by the progress of science and technology. Two hundred years ago, because there was no camera, the "realistic" technique was highly praised. Now,photography, video recording, computer technology can help us to solve it.The phone can be done in less than a second, and its lifelike effects are beyond the reach of painting.Just like the backward tools,yu gong can only rely on a hoe to dig mountains, now high-tech mechanization is so advanced, who will go to use a hoe to.dig mountains? We need to keep pace with the development of The Times, constantly improve the education system we "know",can no longer "like" as the ultimate criterion for our evaluation of a painting. So,can we get our students and artists out of the way to learn diversified art that is more conducive to the development of their creative thinking? The art must have the innovation, the imagination, the creativity is far more important than the imitation force.Master Picasso once said,"I paint according to what I want to paint, not according to what I see,not according to what you teach me."The teaching mode of purely training skills has been out of date. What is advocated now is to cultivate students' core quality of fine arts, that is,high culture, rich culture, aesthetic ability and complete personality. This is the art education that we emphasize now, which means"education through art".It is through this education that we create an environment, whether it is food, clothing, housing, transportation,or ideas. The purpose is to let people "appreciate beauty, discover beauty, and create beauty".In the public cognition, art education still refers to "professional art education".In other words, parents still want their children to receive professional art education, hoping that their children can have one skill. However,no matter whether the children like it or not, there is no respect for them. The art education we need now should be the "non-professional art education" aimed at cultivating the aesthetic ability, artistic accomplishment and comprehensive cultural quality of all students. This study is divided into four chapters. The first chapter through interviews and questionnaires to understand the current situation of art education in primary and secondary schools in kelqin district, tongliao city. The second chapter through the field investigation to understand the tongliao kelqin district outside the current situation of fine arts education institutions. The third chapter through the analysis of the four aspects of the current situation of art education found the existing problems and analysis. The fourth chapter gives some Suggestions and feasible scheme to better carry out school art education.
