In the modern society with the rapid development of science and technology,students with strong mathematical reading ability can obtain information,express opinions and even solve problems more easily.In recent years,no matter from compulsory education to higher education,no matter at home or abroad,mathematics reading has gradually become one of the research focuses in the field of education.As the early stage of mathematics education,primary school mathematics lays the foundation for students' mathematics learning and provides impetus for their future development.How to combine the current situation of primary school students' mathematics reading to promote the formation and development of their mathematics reading ability has become the focus of many mathematics educators and researchers.The research process mainly uses the literature research method and the investigation research method.First of all,the paper expounds the connotation and characteristics of mathematics reading,and then discusses the composition and performance of mathematics reading ability of primary school students combined with the characteristics of mathematics learning and reading materials of primary school students.Based on the existing research and early interviews,the paper designs the mathematics ability test paper and the influencing factors questionnaire.Secondly,SPSS,Excel and other tools are used to analyze the data of the survey and test results,to understand the current situation of development,and to explore the main factors affecting the formation and development of primary school students' mathematics reading ability.Finally,combined with the previous survey results and related theories,how to cultivate students' mathematics reading ability from multiple aspects in primary school.The research results mainly include:1.Fifth grade students' mathematics reading ability level is significantly related to their mathematics academic performance,and mathematics reading ability has a clear impact on students' mathematics learning.2.From the three dimensions of students' personal,school education and family education,this paper summarizes the factors that affect the formation of pupils' mathematics reading ability.Students' personal factors include students' cognitive process characteristics,mathematics cognitive structure,mathematics academic mood,mathematics learning behavior,mathematics reading habits,etc.school education factors include mathematics classroom teaching,mathematics reading guidance,mathematics homework design and Feedback,family education factors include family reading environment and reading atmosphere.3.Combined with the influencing factors,this paper discusses the training strategies of primary school students' mathematics reading ability from three dimensions.Firstly,educators should improve their ability based on the characteristics of students'cognitive process,cultivate students' good mathematics academic mood,help to build a perfect mathematics cognitive structure and then improve students' basic quality;secondly,they should give full play to the guiding role of school education and pay attention to mathematics reading strategy Practice and feedback,strengthen the connection between mathematics reading and Chinese reading,guide and balance the educational influence of various aspects;finally,we should pay attention to the special influence of family education,and educators should pay attention to creating a good family reading atmosphere,providing students with independent thinking space.
