Research On High School Students' Awareness Of Safeguarding Rights:Current Situation And Cultivation Strategies

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)pointed out that we should "comprehensively advance the rule of law" and "improve the legal and moral quality of the whole nation." In the practice of deepening the rule of law,cultivating citizens' awareness of safeguarding rights is an inevitable requirement of"improving the whole nation's legal literacy".As the participants and future builders of the socialist country under the rule of law,the degree of high school students' awareness of safeguarding rights is of great significance to the promotion and cultivation of citizens'legal literacy.However,in recent years,the school infringes on the rights and interests of high school students from time to time,which urgently needs high school students to take up the legal weapons,to safeguard their rights and interests.So in the face of the current situation of school infringement,what is the awareness of safeguarding rights of Chinese high school students at this stage,what factors affect their awareness of safeguarding rights,and how to solve the problem of low awareness of safeguarding rights of high school students?This paper will discuss the above issues.The paper is divided into four parts:The first part,the theoretical part.Based on explaining high school students'awareness of safeguarding rights,this paper explores the necessity of cultivating high school students' awareness of safeguarding rights.Cultivating high school students'awareness of safeguarding rights is an urgent requirement to promote students' personal development,an inevitable choice to improve school governance ability,and an important strategy to promote the comprehensive rule of law.The second part carries on the current situation research based on theoretical research.Through the investigation,it is found that under the background of the new era,high school students have greatly improved their awareness of safeguarding rights compared with previous high school students.At the same time,we should also see that high school students have an excessive emphasis on damaged rights and an unclear understanding of rights and infringement;there is a lack of thinking of safeguarding rights,lack of willingness to protect rights,inconsistent knowledge and actions.The third part analyzes the reasons affecting high school students' awareness of safeguarding rights:High school students' awareness of safeguarding rights needs to be improved.It is closely related to the laws and regulations to safeguard their rights,the social environment that high school students live in,the school education they receive,the family atmosphere they live in,their personal ideological status and other factors.The fourth part,aiming at the above reasons,puts forward the cultivation strategies.First of all,we should weave a net of laws to protect the rights and interests of high school students.Secondly,the society,campus and family should make positive changes and efforts.Finally,high school students should change their personal concepts and take the initiative to transform the subjective world.
