As human beings fully enter the information society,information technology application has changed people's lifestyles,and the traditional classroom teaching model can no longer meet the learning needs of students.Injunior middle school physics classes under the test-oriented environment,teachers are accustomed to taking the dominant position in the classroom,thus the students who lack the learning interest and hands-on ability are less likely to solve problems with innovative thinking.In the wave of education reform,the "Flipped Classroom" that advocates students'individualized learning and the STEM education concept which emphasizes interdisciplinary learning provide new ideas for the development of junior middle school physics teaching methods.Providing that,students can use information technology methods to complete declarative knowledge by themselves at home while they can apply the knowledge already into practice with the help of teachers during class,in order to cultivate students' ability to think and practice independently.This paper takes some junior middle schools in Wuhan that have begun to implement new concepts and new models as the main research object,and has carried out the following related points:The first part introduces the development,research and practice status of Flipped Classroom and STEM education conception at home and abroad through literature research method,and points out the research significance of this paper in the current educational environment.The second part summarizes the concept definitions and related theories of the Flipped Classroom and STEM education conception,and analyzes their application environment in junior middle school physics classroom.The third part constructs the model of the physics flip classroom in junior middle school under STEM Education Concept firstly,applies it to practice,and analyzes practical resources and practice process,which is of reference significance for further implementation of this model teaching.Then,some teachers and students participating in the classroom were interviewed and investigated by questionnaires,so as to understand the preliminary practical effect of the physics flip classroom in junior middle school under STEM Education Concept,and summarize the feasible conditions,constraints and optimization schemes of this mode of practice.The last part points out the conclusions and shortcomings of this study,and indicates the direction for the further stage.
