Influence Of Job Search Channel On Search Time And Income Of Migrant Workers

The employment of migrant workers has always been one of the "three rural" issues that the party and the state pay close attention to."Improving the quality of employment and increasing the income of migrant workers" has been repeatedly mentioned in the No.1 document of the central government in recent years.As the primary economic behavior of rural labor force entering the urban labor market,job search has an important impact on the future income and work quality of migrant workers.This article is based on " migrant workers employment survey data in suzhou industrial park in 2015,get 1118 effective samples.Based on the analysis of job searching channel,job searching time and the income of rural workers,using Durational model and Mincer income model to explore the impact of job search channel on the search time,the salary income and other welfare benefits.And then,put forward the corresponding countermeasures from the perspective of job search channels.The research finds that there are significant differences in the search efficiency of different channels.From the perspective of the influence of search channels on the income of migrant workers,Internet channels and introduction by friends or fellow villagers can significantly improve the income of migrant workers,the former has a greater impact on the income of female migrant workers,while the latter has a significant impact on the income of male migrant workers.In addition,this paper analyzes the impact of job search channels on other benefits other than migrant workers' wage income,and finds that job agencies and career fairs have a significant positive impact on the signing of labor contracts,and help to improve the probability of migrant workers enjoying various social insurance.Based on the above empirical conclusions,this paper proposes to strengthen the adaptability of recruitment websites to migrant workers;expanding the social network of migrant workers and so on.This article has some novelty in the research perspective and research data.It deeped the academic community of migrant workers occupational mobility issues.
