Global warming has become an indisputable fact. The public and governments of all countries pay more attention to environmental issues.Low-carbon economy and sustainable development of ecological environment have become the focus of research and concern of all parties. The Yangtze River Economic Belt,as the core area of the economy of our country after reform and opening-up,its land use mode inevitably has undergone profound changes,in the backdrop of the green development, ecological priority research of land use carbon emissions effect has positive significance. In this paper, land use type data, fossil energy consumption data and population data in 2005,2009,2013 and 2017 of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt were selected to estimate the carbon emissions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and its provinces and cities from 2005 to 2017 by using the sample land inventory estimation method, and analyze the carbon emission trend of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and its provinces and cities in different land use types.Research shows that the Yangtze River Economic Belt increased by 1.6936 million hectares of farmland, the cultivated land area of 955100 hectares,Construction land area increases 3.3436 million hectares;Among all types of land use,the land use for transportation has the largest change range, which is 62.61%.The smallest change was in unused land,at 0.39%.Overall carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Economic Belt increased from810.1274 million tons in 2005 to 122.34573 million tons in 2017,an increase of51.02%.Construction land is the main carbon source, and its carbon emission is104.42%of the net carbon emission.Second, the carbon emission of cultivated land is1.84%of the net carbon emission. From the perspective of the spatial change of land use carbon emission in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the carbon emission of Jiangsu province in 2005 was 162.64 million tons, and increased to 280.3078 million tons in 2017,which was significantly higher than that of other provinces and cities, while the carbon emission of Chongqing was the lowest among all provinces and cities. The net and indirect carbon emissions in the eastern part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt are significantly higher than those in the central and western regions. The western region has the highest direct carbon emissions and the lowest net carbon emissions. From the perspective of the time change of land use carbon emission intensity, the average land carbon emission intensity in the Yangtze River Economic Belt increased from 3.97 t/hm~2 to 6.13 t/hm~2 in 2005-2013,and then decreased to 6.00t/hm~2 in 2013-2017.The intensity of carbon emissions per unit of output continued to decrease from 2005 to 2017.From the perspective of spatial characteristics of land use carbon emission intensity, the eastern region represented by Jiangsu and Shanghai has the largest average carbon emission intensity, with an average annual average of146.69 t/hm~2.The average land carbon emission intensity in the western region is the lowest, with an average annual average of 14.23 t/hm~2.The carbon emission intensity per unit output value of each province and city continued to decrease, with an average decrease of 0.88t/10,000 Yuan.Guizhou was the biggest drop,at 25,800t/10,000 Yuan.It can be seen from the change of average carbon emission and carbon emission per unit output of each province and city in the Yangtze River Economic Belt that the coordination of land use and economic development in the eastern part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is better than that in the central and western parts. The coordination of land use and ecological environment in western China is better than that in central and eastern China.Sichuan is one of the 11 provinces and cities in terms of land use, ecological environment and economic development. Finally, the paper proposes to promote the rationalization of the land use structure of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from the aspects of improving the efficiency of land and energy use, using clean energy and developing low-carbon economy,so as to accelerate the ecological civilization construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
