Higher vocational education has developed rapidly since the 1980 s.Under the trend of internationalization of higher vocational education,the quality assessment of higher vocational education has become the decisive factor affecting the development of educational activities.Educational evaluation is a professional activity with strong professionalism and technical skills,so the research on the evaluation of higher vocational education is also very important.This study takes the evaluation system of higher vocational colleges in China as the research object,conducts research through literature analysis method and comparative method,and through comparative research,explore finds out the problems and proposes countermeasures.It is found that the development prospects of higher vocational colleges in China are good,the state encourages the development of higher vocational colleges,and the state finances invest a large amount of funds to support the construction of higher vocational colleges.The comparative research found that: from the perspective of the appraiser,China's higher vocational education evaluation system method is relatively simple,and the degree of specialization is not enough.From the perspective of being evaluated,the current evaluation of higher vocational education in China has the problem of heavy hardware and light software and heavy form and light process.From a social point of view,China's third-party evaluation has not formed a scale,and it is necessary to set up a professional third-party evaluation agency.Through the research on the evaluation of foreign higher vocational education,it is found that the evaluation of higher vocational education in Europe and the United States is relatively mature.The third-party evaluation of higher vocational colleges in the United States has formed a certain scale,and European countries have also formed a good education evaluation chain among the state,schools and society.Finally,this study combines the comparative method and the literature analysis method to analyze the differences in the evaluation of higher vocational education at home and abroad,and proposes the improvement countermeasures of the evaluation system of higher vocational education in China.First,we must establish a multi-evaluation evaluation.Institutions,to diversify evaluation methods;second,to establish a comprehensive evaluation mechanism for higher vocational education evaluation,form an evaluation-improvement-accountability evaluation model;third,to establish a third-party evaluation agency in line with China's national conditions,and to ensure evaluate the professionalism of the institution.
