Under the guidance of the idea of "creating people by virtue ",the curriculum reform of basic education in our country is in full swing through various efforts,and the reform of ideological and political courses in senior high school also presents a new situation.The new curriculum reform is based on the students' real life,focusing on the students' long-term development,and advocates using the topic-based teaching method to construct the activity-based curriculum,aiming at cultivating the students' core accomplishment through the teaching activities,and constantly improving the speculative ability to form the correct values.Therefore,every ideological and political teacher should pay attention to the application of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political teaching.Through the investigation of the current situation of the current application of topic-based teaching in senior high school ideological and political teaching,it is found that although the ideological and political courses in senior high school have carried out a series of curriculum reforms and achieved certain results,there are still many problems,which are mainly manifested in: teachers' insufficient understanding of the method of topic-based teaching,students ' in adaptability to topic-based teaching,and school's insufficient understanding of topic-based teaching.The main reasons include teachers' incomplete knowledge of topic-based teaching,students' cognitive deviation and lack of inquiry ability,and lack of methods of political teaching in schools.It is the existence of these problems that are not conducive to the cultivation of students 'core literacy.It is also not conducive to promoting the effective application of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political classes.In view of the problems existing in the current ideological and political teaching in senior high school,the application of topic-based teaching in senior high school ideological and political courses should follow the principles of life-oriented,independent,practical and speculative,improve teachers' professional quality through various channels,guide students to change their learning methods and actively participate in the topic-based teaching,mobilize the flexibility of school teachingmanagement,create a good teaching environment for topic-based teaching,and promote the effective application of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses.
