Research On Social Resource Risk And Management In Social Work Professional Services

Since the government purchased social work services,the development of the social work industry grow vigorously.With the stable input of government's resources,the social service institutions and social workers are required to strive for more social resources to solve the problem of insufficient resources so as to have a future development of themselves.However,the social workers are faced with the uncertainty and unpredictability in the process of the linking or integrating to the resources,which may lead to the social resource risks.This paper based on the risk society theory and resource dependence theory,takes the A Community Service Center project in Shenzhen as an sample to launches research on the social resources risk in social work professional services and the management.According to the in-depth interview,literature review and the combination of the author's practice of professional social work,this paper concludes the motivation of introducing social resources into the project,as well as the risk performance,and pertinently put forward effective strategies to reduce the risk of social resources.The study found: under the social environment,the social workers and social services institution rely on the resource to realize the value of helping people and the need for survival,since they are strong controlled by external resources and restricted by the internal factors.However,from the theory of resource dependence and the theory of risk society,it can be seen that unilateral dependence on resources will inevitably lead to possible risks,resulting in conflicts of interest among different subjects,damage to the interests of service objects,psychological injury of social workers,and weakening of professional ability of social workers.In order to reduce or avoid the risk of social resources.Firstly,the risk of resources is assessed by social workers,social service institutions,supervisors,community workers and community residents.Secondly,eliminate single resource sources,diversify alternative resources,enhance social workers' ability and develop social resource management mechanism to reduce future risks.Thirdly,reduce the loss caused by the risk by managing the demand of the service object,or suspending the cooperation,or repairing the relationship.
