In recent decades,the physical health level of college students in China has been dec lining.With the development of science and technology and the change of people&ap os;s lifestyle and travel mode,the physical health level of college students has been de clining.At the same time,the current college students'curriculum task is heavy,the time of extracurricular activities is constantly reduced,and the lack of enough and necessary exercise time is also an important reason for the decline of College Student s'physical health level.With the proposal and application of high-intensity inte rval training,high-intensity interval training has been proved to be safe and effective t o improve people's health level,while the experimental research on the impact of high-intensity interval training on the physical health level of male college students who are not majoring in Physical Education in Colleges and universities is relatively small,especially for those who have passed high-intensity interval training and mediu m-intensity continuous training To compare the training effect,which effect is more si gnificant has always been a controversy in the sports field.Therefore,this paper uses the literature method to obtain the theoretical support,com pares the difference of training effect through the mathematical statistics method,and uses the experimental research method to group 62 ordinary male college students wh o are not majoring in Physical Education in Anyang Normal University.The two phys ical education natural classes are divided into 31 experimental groups with high-inten sity interval training as the main training content and 31 experimental groups with me dium intensity continuous training For the main training content of 31 control group,t he experiment intervention lasted for 8 weeks.Under the same background,the experi ment group and the control group were measured in a unified way before and after the experiment to obtain the data of the two groups.Then the data were sorted out by exc ell and each test of the experiment group and the control group was analyzed by SPSS.In addition to testing and quantifying the physical health test content of college stude nts,we also test and analyze the basic heart rate,the maximum aerobic speed running and the maximum oxygen uptake,so as to comprehensively evaluate the training effec t brought by the two training methods of high-intensity interval training and medium-i ntensity continuous training,and conclude that they are more suitable for college stud ents with large learning tasks and less exercise time Exercise methods,improve the ph ysical health level of ordinary male college students.At the same time,it also provides some theoretical and practical support for the independent exercise of ordinary male college students.Through the above three research methods,we can draw the following conclusions:1.Both high-intensity interval training and medium-intensity continuous training can effectively improve the body composition of male college students,and there is no dif ference between the two training methods.2.In terms of cardiopulmonary function,bo th high-intensity interval training and medium-intensity continuous training can signif icantly reduce the quiet heart rate of ordinary male college students and significantly i mprove the level of maximum oxygen uptake,and high-intensity interval training is m ore significant in the improvement of maximum oxygen uptake.But for the improvem ent of the level of vital capacity,only in the high-intensity intermittent training group to see the obvious effect.3.In terms of sports ability,the two training methods can sign ificantly improve the performance of 50 m run,1000 m run,5min run,MAS run and 12 min run,and the effect of high-intensity interval training is more significant.The effec t on standing long jump only showed a highly significant difference before and after t he experiment in the high intensity interval training group.4.Compared with the impro vement of other sports ability,the improvement of aerobic ability is more obvious.Suggestion 1.For college students who have less spare time,high-intensity interval training is more suitable to improve their physical health test results than medium inte nsity continuous training.2.For the improvement of sports ability,the performance of high-intensity interval training is better than that of medium-intensity continuous trai ning.3.Using various forms of high-intensity interval training to improve the physical quality of college students,especially to strengthen the training of upper limb strength.
