China has a long history,and the Chinese traditional culture has been declining for thousands of years before finally drawing the attention from across the world.The Chinese traditional culture embodies the infinite wisdom of the Chinese descendents and the Chinese spirit represented by them.Therefore,the traditional culture education for middle school students can't be aimed solely at expanding their cultural knowledge.It's also required to increase their awareness of traditional culture and enhance their sense of belonging and pride of the nation.In doing so,they can have a consciousness to perform the historical mission of inheriting Chinese civilization.The compiled textbooks are the first to be compiled and used uniformly in China.The new textbooks are more scientific in the establishment of knowledge structure and more consistent with the current social development.The compilation of textbooks for junior middle school Chinese reduces the total number of texts and the workload of study on texts.However,the traditional cultural content in textbooks increases rather than decreasing,in addition to pushing up the proportion of traditional culture in textbooks to a new high.The importance of traditional cultural education in the new period of China is self-evident.However,up to now,the research conducted into the content of traditional culture in textbooks for junior middle school Chinese remains neither comprehensive nor complete.The new textbook has been put into full use across junior high schools in 2019.It is thus of great significance to study the traditional culture in the new textbook for the selection of traditional culture in society and for teaching of the traditional culture.This paper takes the editing of Chinese textbooks in junior high school as the research object,and makes a comprehensive use of the theoretical research method,the literature analysis method,the case study method and the experience summary method to analyze and summarize the traditional cultural content in the new textbook as well as summarize the teaching strategies.Combined with the evolutionary trend of teaching materials,this paper analyzes the overall arrangement of traditional cultural elements in the textbooks for junior high school and the development characteristics of traditional culture in the new textbooks.Then it focuses on the analysis of the traditional cultural content in the textbooks for the junior high school,and makes a detailed exploration and presentation of the traditional cultural content,traditional cultural categories and presentation methods of traditional culture involved in each traditional cultural article.Finally,based on the characteristics of traditionalculture in the new textbooks and how to internalize the difficulties of traditional culture,a more detailed teaching strategy is recommended,and specific suggestions are made in three aspects including teachers themselves,classroom environment and after-school activities.What is innovative in the thesis lies in a combination of the traditional cultural development trends in the textbooks and an analysis of the characteristics in the traditional cultural arrangement of the new textbooks conducted from multiple perspectives such as social structure function,cultural analysis function and concept reconstructionism.The traditional culture articles of the junior high school section are listed in detail.The traditional cultural elements involved in the traditional cultural composition,especially the traditional folk culture involved in the traditional cultural articles,are presented with precision to a specific sentence or a specific word appearing in an article,which thus provide a detailed reference for the teaching of traditional culture in the junior middle school Chinese classroom.
