In the view of Chinese curriculum in primary school,fairy tale is recognized as one of the most important curriculum resources for Chinese in primary school because of its unique value.As a result,studies on the teaching of Chinese fairy tales in primary school is no end in the stream,and the fruits have been great.However,the development of the research on the teaching of Chinese fairy tales in primary school is not going hand in hand,especially the teaching design,which is a lot of backwardness,as it not only lacks theoretical research,but also exists some practical problems such as improper teaching objective,unclear teaching subject,lack of teaching evaluation and so on.In the face of the higher requirement of the reform of basic education on teachers' professional competence,especially the ability of teaching design under the background of core literacy as well as the theoretical and realistic predicament of the teaching design of the Chinese fairy tales in the current primary school,the teaching design and practice of Chinese fairy tales in primary schools are studied in this paper.And backward design becomes the theoretical basis of the paper,because it has some advantages,which are taking students as the main body,taking the precise orientation of learning goals as the premise,and achieving the alignment of learning,teaching and evaluation in accordance with the learning goals.By the use of the literature research method,by combing the connotation and basic steps of backward design,and the practice and exploration of backward design in various disciplines,the implementation framework of elementary school Chinese fairy tale teaching based on backward design is constructed in the paper.Based on it,with regards to the three types of artistic images and other selection criteria of fairy tales,it is determined to take the personified fairy tale "paper boat and kite",the supernatural-body fairy tale "what is happiness",the ordinary-body fairy tale "the little girl who sells matches" as examples.And the case study is conducted in the practice school-Ningbo G Primary School.In view of the specific problems occurred in the process of three backward design and teaching practice,and the students' reaction to the implementation process,it makes a reflection and puts forward some suggestions for further practice in the paper from the point of view of the alignment of the whole,including the alignment of the three stages in the backward instructional design scheme and the alignment of the learning and teaching evaluation around the learning goals.Finally,through the practice teaching and reflection of the three cases,the paper draws three conclusions: first,the backward teaching of Chinese fairy tales in primary school is a circular process;Second,alignment is an important sign to judge whether the backward design and practice of Chinese fairy tale teaching in primary school is effective or not;Thirdly,according to different types of fairy tales,backward design and teaching should show different characteristics.And in the backward teaching of Chinese fairy tales,teachers should pay attention to the diagnostic evaluation and self-reflection of students,the design of evaluation criteria and the transfer of knowledge by students.
