In order to better implement the fundamental task of establishing morality in the course of Morality and the Rule of Law,and to strive to meet the needs of young people's own development,the textbook of the Ideology and Morality course in junior high schools was renamed Morality and the Rule of Law in the fall of 2016 under the requirements of the reform,the textbook content has also undergone great changes,which is a large number of "inquiry and share" columns have been added,and a large part of the text has been deleted.This requires teachers to follow the trend of teaching reform and change teaching methods to adapt to the new teaching content.In the new round of basic education curriculum reform,the concept of "independence,cooperation,and inquiry" was put forward.Based on this idea,the inquiry teaching method was widely used in the teaching of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior high school.The inquiry teaching method is based on the inquiry advocated by the new curriculum reform.It aims to enable students to analyze problems,solve problems,and acquire knowledge by participating in inquiry activities,to enhance students 'ability to acquire knowledge,and to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and critical thinking.Among them,the author takes the first unit of the Morality and the Rule of Law course in the eighth grade as the research carrier.This unit mainly guides students into the real social life and the virtual network world,and explores the relationship between the individual and society,the network and real life.Relationships to cultivate students' prosocial behaviors and online media literacy.Only in the process of autonomous inquiry,students can fully feel and experience the colorfulness of social life.Through dialectical thinking,they can form correct social concepts and behaviors.This article is mainly divided into three parts: The first part summarizesthe relevant theories of inquiry teaching method,including the meaning and characteristics of inquiry teaching method,and the theoretical basis of applying it to the first unit of the eighth grade Morality and rule of law course and practical basis.The second part focuses on the implementation steps and case studies of the first unit of Morality and the Rule of Law course in the eighth grade volume.The third part uses the methods of teacher interviews and questionnaires to evaluate and analyze the implementation results of inquiry teaching methods from the aspects of students 'learning ability,inquiry interest,teachers' feedback,summarizes and reflects on the application of inquiry teaching methods to grade eight.This paper summarizes and reflects on the implementation effect of inquiry teaching method applied to unit 1 of the first volume of Morality and rule of law in Grade eight,In the fourth part,optimization suggestions are put forward.
