The "Outline of the National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)" clearly states that "improving the quality of physical education".With the reform of physical education in colleges and universities,physical education optional courses have become the mainstream of physical education teaching modes in universities.The original intention of the physical education optional courses mode is to mobilize the enthusiasm of students for sports and give full play to students' subjective initiative.In actual situation,college students are still lacking in enthusiasm for physical education.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the motivation and satisfaction of college students in choosing sports options,and to understand the development status of sports options in China University of Geosciences,so that it can be carried out.It is more smooth,scientific and effective,and at the same time provides a certain theoretical basis for the implementation and transformation of physical education optional courses in ordinary colleges.In this paper,the literature data method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,and logical analysis method are used to study the motivation and satisfaction of the elective course of China University of Geosciences students.Through systematic investigation and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn: China Most of the students at the University of Geosciences have a positive attitude towards the elective course of physical education,but have a certain degree of lack of cognition on the elective course of physical education.They lack the necessary guidance for selecting courses.Through factor analysis,it is concluded that the elective motivation structure of the students' physical education elective course consists of five factors,which are: "Developing skills,enhancing social adaptation","Enhancing physical fitness,promoting physical and mental health","Showing self and attracting attention of others","Interests,charm of teaching environment "," influenced by others,acceptance of family suggestions ",on the whole,students' motivation to take physical education options is the strongest in motivation and teaching environment,followed by promoting physical and mental health,acquiring skills,and achieving Motivations such as value and social needsare weaker for electives in order to show self,attract attention or be influenced by others.There were significant differences between the male and female students' motivations for "they are good at elective sports" and "teaching ability and personal charisma of teachers",and there were no significant differences in other elective motivations.China University of Geosciences has certain problems in the setting of the PE elective course.It does not fully realize the student-centered "three autonomy" original intention of the PE elective course.Students who fail to choose their favorite courses and choose less positive attitudes have lower satisfaction.China The students of the University of Geosciences are relatively satisfied with the teaching methods of the physical education teacher,the learning atmosphere of the class,and the teaching effect of the physical option course.The average scores in the physical option course setting,the physical option hours,the sports facilities,and the physical option assessment method have not reached the level of satisfaction.(4points).The reason is that the courses actually offered are not comprehensive enough,the course hours are small,and the necessary theoretical and practical courses are lacking;some sports facilities are old and there are hidden safety hazards;the assessment methods for teachers need to be optimized.Motivation factors for students 'elective elective courses: "Develop skills,enhance social adaptation","Enhance physical fitness,promote physical and mental health","Show self,attract others' attention","Interests and hobbies,Charm of teaching environment",all have significant effects on student satisfaction Sexuality is positively related,so to a certain extent,to stimulate and cultivate this kind of motivation,student satisfaction will also increase accordingly,and the elective motivation factor "other people influence,accept family suggestions," has no significant correlation with student satisfaction.
