Research On Fertility Desire Of Women Of Childbearing Age And Its Influencing Factors In Jilin Province

Fertility is an individual's natural behavior and choice.Whether to have children not only affects individuals or families,but also plays an important role in the change of population structure and the operation of the whole society.In 2016,China implemented the "comprehensive two-child" policy,bringing milestone changes to the family planning policy.After the implementation of the new policy,attention should be paid to understanding the group within the scope of the policy,i.e.women of childbearing age's willingness to have two children,and studying and analyzing the influencing factors of the willingness to have two children can help to judge the future fertility level and provide reference basis for solving population problems and implementing the policy.Based on the cost-effectiveness theory of children,rational choice theory and choice theory of fertility desire,and using the data of Jilin province in 2017 national fertility status sampling questionnaire,this paper analyzes the basic situation of the fertility desire of Jilin province's women of childbearing age with SPSS software and makes binary Logistic regression analysis on the influencing factors of the fertilitydesire of the second child.First of all,this paper makes a simple statistical analysis of the basic situation of women of childbearing age in Jilin Province from the individual,economic and social aspects.Secondly,through the number of births,the timing of births,the sex of births and the wishes of the second child,the fertility wishes of women of childbearing age in Jilin province are analyzed.Thirdly,it will cross-analyze the age,education level,existing children structure,employment situation reflecting economic factors,total family income and urban-rural structure reflecting social factors with four aspects reflecting fertility desire.Finally,binary Logistic regression analysis was carried out on the influencing factors of the second child-bearing wishes of women of childbearing age in Jilin province,and the main influencing factors were obtained.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,women of childbearing age have low desire to have two children,and nearly 60% of them do not intend to have two children.Second,the ideal number of children for women of childbearing age is mostly 2,and they have the desire to have both children.However,the planned number of children is mainly 1 child,and the preference of boys is slightly higher than that of girls.Third,there are significant differences in the second child-bearing wishes of different women of childbearing age.From the individual factors,the second child-bearing wishes of women ofchildbearing age who are of low age,low educational background and have no children or one child and are girls are high.From the perspective of economic factors,women of childbearing age who are not employed and have a low family income have a high desire to have two children.Judging from social factors,rural women of childbearing age have a high desire to have two children.Fourth,the influencing factors of the second child's willingness to give birth are mainly age,education level,existing child structure in individual factors,total family income in economic factors and urban-rural structure in social factors.This shows that there are many influencing factors of the second child's willingness to give birth,and women of childbearing age will choose whether to give birth to the second child based on various factors.Finally,according to the research content,the author summarizes the countermeasures and suggestions from four aspects: policy,concept,medical treatment and employment,hoping to help women of childbearing age to create a good reproductive environment and ensure the stable and harmonious development of the population.
