In recent years,with the increasingly clear positioning and scale expansion of the higher vocational education,it has attracted more high-quality students.It plays an important role in improving the national quality,promoting employment and promoting social and economic development,and has attracted great attention from the state.However,while higher vocational education is booming,it also faces a series of tests.For example,the national policy of expanding the enrollment of one million students in higher vocational colleges in 2019 also puts forward higher requirements for teachers in higher vocational colleges.At present,there is an obvious shortage of teachers in higher vocational colleges in China.According to the statistics of national higher vocational education in 2018,the student-teacher ratio is in a certain gap with the standard value on the whole,and some schools are even higher than 20:1,among which "double-qualified" teachers are in serious shortage.This unreasonable structure of teachers will have a great negative impact on the development of higher vocational education and the cultivation of talents.Therefore,it is particularly important to employ external part-time teachers to alleviate the problem caused by the shortage of teachers.This paper firstly makes a theoretical analysis on the selection of part-time external teachers in higher vocational colleges,clarifies the importance and theoretical basis of the selection of part-time external teachers,and then takes L school in liaoning province as the research object after analyzing the selection mechanism.Starts with the recruitment of external part-time teachers,interviews the management personnel of the school,and conducts a questionnaire survey on external part-time teachers.This paper analyzes the basic structure,recruitment plan,recruitment channels,recruitment standards,assessment methods and pre-job training of external part-time teachers.Later,it is found that there are some problems in the recruitment process,such as unclear demand plan for external part-time teachers,insufficient number of teachers,large randomness in the recruitment process,and lack of pre-job training.According to the analysis of the problems,the main reasons are thelack of effective support from the government's policies,the particularity of the selection and recruitment of external part-time teachers,the lack of forward-looking and scientific management and the lack of in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises.Corresponding to this,the last part of the paper believes that measures should be taken to clarify the job demand analysis,improve the job attraction,establish multiple recruitment channels,formulate scientific evaluation methods,provide necessary pre-job training and select high-quality cooperative enterprises.In this way,the higher vocational colleges can obtain a sufficient number of part-time teachers with good quality,and cultivate more high-quality application-oriented talents.
