Compilation Of Infant Sensory Integration Assessment Scale

Based on the theory of sensory signal integration processing and sensory integration theory,this study develops a set of localized and standardized evaluation tools to provide comprehensive,rapid and easy-to-interpret evaluation tools.This study conducted two consecutive studies.The first study was a pre-test to construct a sensory integration function rating scale.A pre-test was conducted on 703 kindergarten children in Handan area to determine the scale topics and form a formal scale.The second study was to understand the discriminative power of the scales,establish reliability,and verify the theory.A total of 693 questionnaires were sent to children aged 3-6 in the three districts of Handan,and 80% of them were recovered.The pre-test questions are subject analysis;the questionnaire data are statistically analyzed by Pearson product difference correlation,exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis.The findings are as follows:1.The "Sensory Integration Function Rating Scale" has six structures: vision,hearing,proprioception,vestibule,touch,and developmental disorders.2.The compiled scale has 6 dimensions,consisting of a total of 48 questions.It has good internal consistency reliability and structural validity.The assessment is an electronic questionnaire assessment,so it is easy to obtain and use.The assessment results can be based on 6 The subscales are explained separately,so it is easier to understand the form of the problem.The evaluation time only takes 5 to 10 minutes,and the cost is less.It can be used as a tool for preliminary screening.The developed evaluation tool has a description of the test preparation,and a standardized sample should be of practical value.3.Except for vestibular,visual and auditory questions,the sensory integration function scale for children is relatively small.Generally,the factor load is estimated to be normal,and the absolute value of the correlation coefficient is less than 0.05.Therefore,the discriminative range of 6 subscales is acceptable.4.From the three analysis of model structure validity,convergence validity and discriminant validity,the model structure of children's sensory integration function scale is compatible with empirical data.
