Physics is an experiment-based subject.There have been many famous classical physics experiments in physics,such as torsion scale experiment.Cavendish scale experiment was named "one of the top ten most beautiful experiments ",which appeared twice in high school physics textbook,respectively,Cavendish scale experiment and Coulomb scale experiment,they have certain similarity,and contain rich physical science methods,explore their relationship,excavate the scientific methods contained therein,which is beneficial to the development of students' thinking.As an experimental method,the scale provides a solution for the measurement of small quantities.Many people still use the scale Method to measure the gravitational constant.Physical experiment is a basic skill and a basic method of physical research.The ability to operate physical experiments and apply physical research methods to solve problems is also a basic requirement of physics curriculum standards.Based on the experiment of twist scale,this paper excavates the physical science methods contained in the experiment,analyzes the application of the corresponding methods in the physics experiment of senior high school,probes into the teaching design of the corresponding physical science methods,and puts forward some teaching suggestions for the implementation of physical science methods education,hoping to provide the basis for teachers to carry out physical science methods education.This thesis mainly studies the following three aspects:The first aspect: introduce the development of twist scale experiment,analyze the connection between Cavendish twist scale experiment and Coulomb twist scale experiment,and contribute to the development of physics.Finally,it is concluded that the students experience the process of scientific inquiry,which is helpful for students to master the scientific methods included in the experiment,to better apply scientificmethods to solve problems,and to improve their ability to solve problems.The second aspect: scientifically define the common scientific methods in physics experiment,comprehend the physical science methods contained in the torsion scale experiment,and count the application of the corresponding scientific methods in the physics experiment of senior high school in the human education edition,and analyze the importance of this method.The third aspect: using "know method parallel" to law lesson "gravity law" and "coulomb law ",experiment lesson " measuring gravity acceleration with single pendulum " teaching design,explore the way to implement scientific methods in teaching,according to the actual situation,put forward six suggestions to infiltrate physical science method education.Finally,it is concluded that students go through the process of scientific inquiry,which is helpful for them to master the methods included in the experiment,to better apply scientific methods to solve problems,and thus to improve their thinking ability.
