As a solid force of higher education in our country,higher vocational colleges are one of its important components,bearing the responsibility of training professional and technical talents.As a required course,physical education course plays an important role in strengthening the physique,improving health,training and transporting practical talents with high physical literacy for the society.In such a situation,how to construct higher vocational physical education curriculum,explore teaching mode,set up teaching content and other aspects,which challenges the teaching ability of higher vocational physical education teachers.Based on this understanding,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of physical education teachers' teaching ability in higher vocational colleges,and provides reference suggestions for improving teachers' teaching ability in an all-round way.First of all,this study has consulted the relevant literature and materials,used other research on Teachers' teaching ability for reference,preliminarily determined five first level indicators,17 second level indicators and 60 third level indicators.Through the results of two rounds of Delphi method,the indexes are screened and modified.Finally,according to the analytic hierarchy process,the evaluation index system of physical education teachers' teaching ability in higher vocational colleges is established.There are five first level indicators,17 secondlevel indicators and 58 third level indicators in the system,and the weight of each evaluation index is divided.Through the combination of AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the evaluation model is established and the actual empirical analysis is carried out.The score of the evaluation is about 82.3,and the overall evaluation is "good".The evaluation results are basically the same,which can provide certain theoretical reference for the cultivation and development of the teaching ability of physical education teachers in higher vocational colleges;it has certain practical significance to improve the management effect of physical education in higher vocational colleges and promote the overall development of the teaching ability of physical education teachers in higher vocational colleges.There are also deficiencies in the process of research.(1)Limited by the limitation of theoretical and practical ability,the indexes selected in this study are not perfect enough,some of them are abstract and not easy to be evaluated,which needs further in-depth study in the future;(2)in the empirical study of the evaluation system constructed in this study,only one teaching lesson of a teacher can be demonstrated and evaluated,which cannot be carried out comprehensively Evaluation,so the dimension of evaluation is limited.
