History is the product of human activity and human thought,and humans play an undoubted leading role in history.History textbooks are the most direct means for students to understand history,and the compilation of historical figures is an important part of the compilation of history textbooks.The compilation of historical figures not only affects teachers 'teaching,but also influences students' thinking and value judgment,so it is of great significance to study the compilation of historical figures in history textbooks.At present,there are few studies on the changes of the compilation of historical figures in multiple sets of history textbooks from a longitudinal perspective,and the analysis of character description and evaluation has not received much attention.In order to be more comprehensive,this study selected three sets of history textbooks published by People's Education Press in 1992,2001 and 2016 after compulsory education was implemented,and discuss the changes in the writing of historical figures in terms of the selection,type,arrangement position,description and evaluation.There are four main parts in this article.The first chapter introduces the general compilation of the three sets of history textbooks selected from the perspective of compulsory educationand new curriculum reform.The second chapter,from the four aspects of character selection,character type,character arrangement position and character description and evaluation,conducts data statistics and text analysis on the characters in the three sets of textbooks,and studies the changes of the characters in the textbooks.The compilation of historical figures shifts frommore to less,from testoriented education toquality education,from old to innovation,and frominstilling knowledge to enlightening thinking.In the process of research,it was also found that there are some problems in character writing,such as the arranging of some character types becoming more unreasonable.The third chapterdiscusses the reasons behind the changes in the compilation of historical characters in textbooks.The compilation of historical figures is a part that can not be ignored in the compilation of textbooks.It is affected by changes in the background of the times and guiding ideology,the reform of basic education courses,the nature of compulsory education courses,and curriculum standards.The fourth chapter provides suggestions for improving the compilation of historical characters in textbooks from the aspects of female character compilation,character type arrangement,character description and introduction of historical research results.
