Life education originated in foreign countries,and has attracted the attention of all sectors of society since it was introduced into China.The national and local governments have also attached great importance to the implementation of life education.In recent years,a variety of news reports of children's suicide cases,especially in rural areas,the phenomenon of children's neglect of life occurs frequently,which shows that it is imperative to carry out life education for children.This paper uses the method of group work to intervene the life education of rural children,The theory of humanism and children's cognitive development provides a theoretical perspective for social work to intervene in children's life education.Based on the SYQ Foundation's public welfare project-"Cai Hong summer,have your friends and others" summer rural children's growth and accompanying services as a platform,Y in T City,Gan Su Province The village carries out group activities.In the early stage of group preparation,10 children aged 8-12 were recruited from y village.Parents of the children were interviewed to understand the basic situation of the service objects,and the group members were interviewed in the early stage of the group.On this basis,according to the group plan,the group carried out six group activities in order to promote children's own growth,guide and help children understand the characteristics and feelings of life Realize the value of life,know yourself,establish a harmonious interpersonal relationship,and then love your life,improve the sense of responsibility.In the process of group activities,the workers observe the language and behavior of the group members and record them,which provides reference for later group evaluation.In the later stage of group,based on the analysis of the results of the pre-test and post test questionnaires,the group process evaluation and result evaluation are completed.The study found that:the group work involved in the life education of rural children has a certain impact.According to the comparative analysis of the questionnaire before and after the group activity,after the activity,the group members' understanding of the word "life" and their understanding of their own advantages have improved,the expression ability of individual group members has improved significantly,and the group members have formed a good relationshipwith each other.Although the results have been achieved,there are still some deficiencies in the research process,such as the lack of understanding of the current situation of school life education,role clarification of social worker in practice and follow-up of group activities.
