With the release and implementation of the "Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)",compulsory education has entered a new stage.The new curriculum standards are based on the requirements of the 21 st century for aesthetic education.Systematicity and regularity,on the other hand,focused on the humanistic value of the art discipline in the new era and the development needs of students 'creativity,which became a milestone in the reform of art education in China.The new curriculum standard concept and new textbooks are based on the principle of promoting the life-long development of students,and pay attention to the cultivation of "humanistic spirit,innovative ability,aesthetic taste and art literacy",which is a quality education that truly meets the individual growth needs of students.Therefore,as the dominant player in the curriculum reform,the professional requirements of primary and secondary school art teachers are constantly improving,and the professionalization of primary and secondary school art teachers is gradually receiving more and more attention.Continuing education is an important way for teachers to develop professionally,and the education authorities have given great support in terms of policies and funds.However,what is different from the city is that the rural area is vast,mainly natural economy and primary industry,the economic level is relatively lagging behind,the education level is usually difficult to keep up with the requirements,and the overall level of art teachers is relatively low.The continuing education of art teachers in primary and secondary schools has become a key issue for the healthy development of art education disciplines in rural areas.What is the professional level of art teachers in the current primary and secondary schools in rural areas? What is the professional status of the art teacher group? What is the quality of continuing education for art teachers?What is the problem? In what way should we improve? The exploration of these issues has practical significance for art teachers and art education in the compulsory education stage in rural areas.In order to explore the above specific issues,the author takes the art teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Huaxian County,Henan Province as the research object,and uses questionnaire surveys and interviews as the research methods to conduct a detailed investigation and analysis of the personal situation,professional status and continuing education of the teacher group.As a result,I sought to find out the characteristics of the art teachers in rural primary and secondary schools and the problems of local teachers' continuing education.Finally,by analyzing the results,some suggestions for teachertraining were put forward to the teacher continuing education organizer.This article can be divided into four parts in general:The first part is an introduction,which introduces the research origin,research background,current problems,research purpose and significance of this research,current research trends and research design and methods at home and abroad.The second part is an overview of the relevant theories for the continuing education of art teachers in rural primary and middle schools,including the definition of relevant concepts,theoretical support for teachers 'continuing education,the requirements for professional standards for primary and secondary school teachers,and relevant policy support for teachers' continuing education.The third part takes Hua County,Henan Province as an example,to conduct a detailed investigation and study on the personal status,professional status and current continuing education of the local rural primary and middle school art teachers,and to analyze the results horizontally and vertically.Summarized the problems reflected in the survey data.The survey takes the form of a combination of questionnaire survey and interview,with questionnaire survey as the main,and interview as a complement and supplement.In the fourth part,the author starts from continuing education participants and continuing education organizers through two classic cases,and analyzes the factors affecting the continuing education of art teachers in rural primary and secondary schools.The fifth part is based on the previous research results and guided by the theory of art education.It puts forward specific implementation suggestions for the continuing education of art teachers from five aspects.To promote the professional development of art teachers in rural primary and secondary schools.
