The connection between secondary vocational education and higher vocational education is essential to build a modern vocational education system,of which curriculum connection is the core to achieve an effective connection between the two vocational education levels.The modern apprenticeship is the latest form of the talent cultivation model of vocational education in our country,and also a new model for the connection of secondary and higher vocational education.It has the functions of integrating vocational education resources across borders and promoting in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises,which can facilitate the connotation connection of secondary and higher vocational education courses.This paper takes the curriculum connection of secondary and higher vocational education as the research object,starting from four aspects: current situation analysis,international search,comparative exploration,and countermeasure discussion.Firstly,it expounds the positive significance of modern apprenticeship to the connection between secondary and higher vocational curriculum.The modern apprenticeship system can promote the connection of three elements of knowledge,skill and quality of courses and guarantee the quality of the curriculum connection in secondary and higher vocational education.Through data statistics and text analysis,this paper studies the general situation of China's modern apprenticeship pilot program and the current status of secondary and higher vocational curriculum connection in China based on modern apprenticeship,summarizing the current characteristics,such as,the comprehensive linkage of curriculum development,the progressive development of curriculum setting modules,the integration of curriculum content and training,the alternation of learning and working in curriculum implementation,the bidirectional and multidimensional curriculum evaluation.It also summarizes its existing problems and the causes of the problems,mainly including course bridging range,poor management,incommensurate curriculum cohesion content.Using literature analysis method to comb the relevant experiences in curriculum development,curriculum setting,curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation of secondary and higher vocational curriculum connection based on the modern apprenticeship in Britain,German,and Australia,so as to provide reference value for China.Using comparative research methods to compare and explore the relevant experience in Britain,German,Australia and China.From three perspectives of curriculum connection' basis,structure and quality assurance,the author compares and analyzes these countries own experiences in national professional standards,professional settings and training objectives,curriculum content,cohesive devices as well as enterprise engagement and curriculum evaluation.Based on the above research,this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions of curriculum connection path between secondary and higher vocational education based on modern apprenticeship,such as consolidating the curriculum connection foundation by standardizing the professional qualification system,improving the professional directory setting,and unifying the national curriculum standards;consummating the curriculum connection structure by determining the ability training goals,developing work-oriented content,and implementing flexible cohesive devices;ensuring the curriculum connection quality by organizing the multi-subject participation and conducting multi-quality assessment.
