A Study On The Evaluation Of The Competitiveness Of Higher Education In Anhui Province

On December 13,2018,Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Anhui provinces and cities jointly signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on higher quality integrated development of education in the Yangtze River Delta region in Shanghai,marking that the development of education in the Yangtze River Delta has entered a new stage of integration and high quality development.At present,Anhui Province,as a province with large population and higher education in the central part of China,is facing the ever-changing competitive situation.How to further seize the historical opportunity of the integration of education in the Yangtze River Delta region in a new form,and better enhance the core competitiveness of regional higher education to meet the new challenges has become an urgent need to be solved in the process of building a strong province of higher education in Anhui Province Important issues.Therefore,studying the current situation of the development of higher education in Anhui Province,comparing the other five provinces in the central part of China,analyzing the influencing factors of the competitiveness of higher education in Anhui Province and the coordination of internal development are conducive to clarifying the shortcomings and shortcomings in the development of higher education in Anhui Province,so as to optimize the development layout of higher education in Anhui Province,and smoothly connect with the development process of education integration in the Yangtze River Delta.First of all,this paper studies the related concepts and theoretical basis of regional higher education competitiveness,which provides theoretical support for this study.Then,in the principle range of the index system,combined with the relevant literature,the index set with six dimensions of education structure,education scale,funding,infrastructure,teachers and scientific research strength as the first level index is constructed,and a total of 23 second level index evaluation index systems of high-level education competitiveness are screened out by the method of variation coefficient.At the same time,based on the index system,the evaluation index system of higher education in Anhui Province is analyzed Development status.Secondly,the paper selects the improved fuzzy Borda combined evaluation model based on the principalcomponent analysis method and the grey correlation method to compare Anhui Province with the other five provinces in the central region.The paper selects the relevant index data of higher education in the six provinces in the central region in 2018,calculates the comprehensive score of higher education competitiveness of each province and sorts it,and obtains the different evaluation methods in Anhui Province Scores and rankings.Then,the paper analyzes the influencing factors of the competitiveness of higher education in Anhui Province from two aspects of population scale and economic development,and uses the coordination degree model to evaluate the coordination of its internal development.Finally,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of higher education in Anhui Province.The results show that population and economic factors have an important impact on the competitiveness of higher education;the difference between the evaluation results of the improved fuzzy Borda combination model and the evaluation results of the two single methods is small,and the comprehensive competitiveness of higher education in Anhui Province is the third in the middle;the competitiveness of higher education in Anhui Province is mainly driven by the strength of scientific research and the structure of education,but in the scale of education and the economy of higher education There is a significant gap between Anhui Province and Hubei Province in terms of cost input,scale and quality of teachers,and the development type of higher education in Anhui Province tends to be coordinated.
