The small and medium-sized enterprise(SMES)has been rapidly developed since the reform and opening-up policy performed more than 30 years.SMES have become an important part of national economy and promoted the economic and social development.As one of the important members of promoting economic development,human resources of SMES play an important role and have become somebody who are actively needed by the enterprises under market economic environment which leads to the staff loss and bring economic and reputation losses.So how to reduce the staff loss has become one of the biggest challenges the enterprise management should face.This paper first compares research results both in China and abroad and takes LA enterprise for example to analyze the status,characteristics and influence of staff loss based on the turnover statistics of nearly two years.And then combine the statistical data based on employee's departure report and macroeconomic factors such as society,industry and enterprise as well as staff-own factors to analyze the reason.Based on this analysis,the paper further discusses the countermeasure of LA enterprise and puts forward some solutions,including to establish a reasonable salary system,provide more opportunities for staff development,strengthen internal communication,establish good corporate culture,changing the concept of enterprise management,show great importance to the position analysis and backup and the staff loss records,etc.The study of this paper is SMES which is represented by LA enterprise.Through the analysis of the characteristics,causes and measures of staff loss,reveal the current dilemma and responded action of staff loss of SMES.In theory,these measures will effectively reduce the loss rate and promote the stable development of LA and also bring enlightenment and help to ease the staff loss phenomenon of SMES.
