With the rapid development of economy in Beijing,traffic congestion problem has not been effectively solved.The practical problems brought by traffic congestion will not only reduce the expected utility of urban roads,but also affect people's living and working environment,and make it hard to travel.During the rapid economic development in Beijing,traffic congestion has not been effectively improved.The practical problems brought by traffic congestion will not only reduce the expected utility of urban roads,but also affect the living and working level of urban residents and make travel more difficult.While sharing bicycles come into the urban transport system,the rapid development has been achieved in just one year.On the one hand,the seamless connection of "the last mile" can help improve the efficiency of traffic and transportation,but at the same time,the lack of management in disorder and aggravation also aggravates traffic congestion.Therefore,this paper takes Beijing as the research object,explores the mechanism of shared bicycle on traffic jam,and determines the relationship between shared bicycle and traffic jam in Beijing,and provides reference and reference for the future development of shared bicycle and urban traffic.In this paper,the theory of urban traffic congestion,traffic demand theory,B&TOD theory and spatio-temporal economics as the theoretical basis.First of all,the definition of traffic jam is determined.The traffic jam index is used as an indicator to measure the degree of traffic jam.At the same time,the paper analyzes the current situation and cause of traffic jam in Beijing.Then,the concept of shared bicycle is defined,and the political,economic,social and technical environments of the shared bicycle are analyzed using the SWOT-PEST matrix.The advantages and disadvantages of the shared bicycle are summarized.Next,this paper focuses on the research on the mechanism of shared cycling on traffic congestion,and elaborates and illustrates the mode of action of shared cycling on traffic congestion from the two perspectives of intensification and mitigation.Next,we establish a time series model and use the obtained data as an example to analyze the effect of shared bicycling on traffic congestion.The main conclusions drawn from the empirical analysis are as follows:Sharing bicycles can have a certain promotion effect on alleviating traffic congestion.First,to meet people's short-distance travel needs,directly reduce the use of motor vehicles within 5km;second,to change people's travel behavior and reduce peak demand of pedestrian flow in the same time period,to avoid space-time agglomeration and thus indirectly reduce congestion.Third,the characteristics of the roads in Beijing's sub-prime trunk roads make sharing of bicycles flexible travel an advantage,and the effective circulation efficiency of central urban areas is reduced effectively.Although it is currently helping to alleviate traffic congestion in Beijing,there are a number of issues as follows:First,the rights to bicycles are not adequately protected and mixed locomotives aggravate traffic congestion.Second,the lack of shared bicycle management,indiscriminate disruptions and grave phenomena,and third,due to travel awareness and other issues lead to safety incidents.Therefore,in view of the above problems,this paper takes the countries with good foreign bicycle development as examples and from three aspects:policy planning,road construction and meticulous management,Provide ideas draws on their advanced development experience to propose improvements and suggestions on the sharing of bicycles in China.
